I think it will be a bit of both. It's like russian roulette as to what his next shhitstorm is gonna be. Forget trying to action change as part of his inner circle. Too risky.

Tbf to the Republicans.. he won the primaries despite many of them supporting all/any of his rivals as they saw him for what he is.

Once he'd won the Republican nomination they were forced into a decision.. be openly hostile and potentially lose their seat, or back him begrudgingly and hope they can either oust him later down the line or hope he comes good.

You'll see plenty more sharpening of knives soon, as he continues to isolate and alienate himself from everyone.

For non-Americans he is comedy gold though, as is his regime.

"Fire and Fury"

Defence secretary immediately tries to downplay it talking about diplomacy.

Couple hours later.. "locked n' loaded"

Defence secretary..

John Oliver has absolutely gone to town on him and his regime the past few weeks.. recommend watching all of his latest season if you haven't already.

Cornering a rat is never a good idea.

He's still terrifyingly powerful and the US is more divided than ever before in my lifetime.

If you have ever had the misfortune to work with American investment bankers, this is what it's like.

All of the time.

Don't need to work with them, saw what they did to our economy a decade ago.

The Big Short is a cracking film which gives a small insight into it.

It's a great film. Very accessible too.

I've dealt with a few, some of them are brilliant IMO. Live and die by their decisions and 100% commitment. On more than one occasion i've had them say: "just do it, if it F's up, ill shoulder the blame"

None of them have ethics

They knew what they were getting themselves into before this all started.

Priks, every single one of them

I must caveat that by saying I'm now no longer allowed to work in financial services as insurance companies wont cover me, after the stuff I was involved with in 2007-2008.

McCann

They may be jumping, they may even be rats, but its a beautiful thing they're jumping from.

The other way to look at it it's that these are experienced guys who gave Trump a chance to prove himself. Over time when they have realised that he is a feckin buffoon and they no longer want to be associated with his mad house politics.

Not my experience, Admin 1. They may say that. When it does fe<k up, they can't look quicker for somebody to blame. In my experience.

I'd imagine most, or at least a significant amount of investment bankers are psychopaths.

I'm sure you have all read it, but The Pyschopath Test by Jon Ronson is a great read and really opened up my eyes to what a psychopath is and how to spot one.

Donald Trump must max out the Psychopath test

Brilliant satire of yuppiedom, class movie.

Very different to the book.

Model: what do you do?
Pb: I'm in murders and executions.
Model: had a freeing that did mergers and acquisitions too.
Pb: grrr.

The one thing that book taught me.. if you're worried, or think you might be a psychopath then you aren't one.

They're incapable of seeing themselves for what they are, or just don't care.
