What he football you could cover on a postage stamp Get the lad signed up on a 4 year contract now because it won't be long before the big boys take note
He did really well. Nervous at the start but grew into it.
Alioski for me wasn't great. He played a great pass for wood but doesn't get many crosses in or beat the fullback.
Hernandez was one of our best players as always, take him out the team and we've got very little creativity.
He was excellent
Alioski was very poor
And leeds62, you don't start throwing out 4 years after one game.
And you still owe me £50, which some charity has got, you absolute skum
And top cat, id still have cooper in for now.
But I do think we've got a good centre half on our books

We have2 very cb only you are to stupid to see it
Its like when I recommended Adam Smith you said he was useless now worth £25m!
I owe you nothing Shaunesey will play for his country this season mark my words
Fulham are a really good side. At half time I thought we were lucky not to be losing. Some of their touches in the first 20 minutes was outstanding.
We played better 2nd half but there wont be as many teams as good as them we'll play this season.
Smith was rubbish for Leeds, you just can't keep hold of players in the hope three years later there ok
What about smith, Jennings etc etc. The list goes on
No you don't owe me £50, you owe charity £50, you disgusting lying skum
I think it's good that we're not really seeing a hangover from losing Bartley. Cooper has stepped up and Shaughnessy looks a good young player.
Looks good on the ball, which i really like
We have our new CB. No need to buy another. Shaughnessy was a revelation. The lad looks composed and the timing of his tackles yesterday was top drawer, particularly the match saving tackle towards the end of the game. Where the bloody hell did he come from? Like a streak of white lightning to prevent what looked like a certain goal in the making.
We have a gem here guys. Future England CB no doubts about that
Didn't realise he was the lad we signed from Reading youth team last season.
Pure Irish? Parents, birthplace?
Just checked. Yep, you're right. Totally Irish and has represented RoI at various youth levels. So, can only play for RoI - and he will!
Big call to say that one game, he's going to be an international.
He's 21 and reading released him because they didn't think he was good enough
Having said all that, I do like the look of the kid. Impressed

We released Cairney to be fair and kept Phillips, doesn't always mean much.
Hes still only 20 and will play for his country this season
I wish I knew the odds for that best I have seen for many a year
He played at midfield for Reading well done to the manager for finding this gem and as I say get him on a 4 year now before the big boys step in as I think he could attract big offers in the future

Reading released him as a CM. They never tried him as a CB. Their loss and our obvious gain. He was outstanding last night against a classy team.
I think people are completely missing the point. I do wish people would read properly
Things change very quickly. Saying someone is going to be an international after one game is madness.
He's still forth choice, when every fit, so it isn't easy.
That's strange you said earlier we didn't have a good CB I said we have 2

When did I say that !!!! I've always rated cooper as wel as Jansen
Your the belle nd who say Jansen is better than rio, woody, hunter, radabe, fairclough, McQueen, charlton.
Your also the idiot who said Byram was going to be as good as bale and worth £50m
You've got a screw lose and I feel for you
Agree on shaughnessy having a decent start.
Dont agree on OKane or Alioski who were our 2 worst players last night for me.
Didn't you always say that Cooper was decent back up to Bartley and Pontus last season Liw ........... ?
I'm sure others have picked fault in Cooper, don't recall you doing it?
Have to support you there .... CB is one position you've not really criticised the ability of the players that I can recall.
Fingers crossed Shaughnessy can continue last nights performance going forward .........
He's done his job though, he's 4th choice and needs to perform at his best when called upon to dislodge the other defenders. Fair play to him and age is on his side.
Jansson played as a striker for quite a while but got asked to try playing at centre half, now look at him!
