The record stock market levels are everything to do with Trump and investors confidence in American economy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As Trump would like you to believe.

In the real world there are multitudes of factors (if you look at US growth figures from 2016 - stock and bonds in particular) you will see current investor confidence has nothing whatsoever to do with the US administration.

Even if HC had won, the economic landscape today would not look much different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No it's because of increased investment because of Trump's plans to lowers taxes and get rid of excessive regulations, that's why it's increased so much since Trump's took office.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahh, those "excessive regulations" again. Environmental, safety, governance, financial regs, (which were put in place following the 2007 sub-prime housing market collapse which led to the global crash in 2008....etc etc).

I'm sure lenders (with reduced regs) will never exploit the poor again.

Trumps "plans" have somehow come to fruition prior to most of them being implemented. Yet have had a direct impact on economic growth...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes this is how the stock market works, businesses/individuals invest based on the future outlook of the economy...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can you point out the particular pieces of legislation Trump has got through the Senate which has directly contributed to economic growth?

Markets fluctuate (dependent on a multitude of factors) but are not reflective of the overall economic output.

AFCISMYTEAM - you are woefully misinformed.
Blm was founded by 3 women who look to a black supremacist murderer as their "spiritual leader" and their "source of inspiration".
They have always been a supremacist group who have consistently promoted violence against police officers, and used misinformation to engender racial division x

What are ridiculous left-wing views?

I want to know if I qualify
----------------------------------------------------------------------
alt left, where every thing wrong in their lives is the fault of someone else, where you preach love, tolerance and peace while spreading anti white hatred and be violent to anyone who disagrees...
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow.

So the left as a whole ultimately have varying degrees of hate for white people? Is that what you're telling me?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No didn't say that, but the alt left or hard left is anti white.

If they want to highlight issues black people facing then why not talk about other things like the rate of single motherhood in the black community, disprpportionate crime rates, glorifying gang culture etc.

All valid points, the retort would most likely be why these problmes exist in the community and the treatment of the black community since the abolition of slavery is a major reason why.

The ghetto's being flooded with drugs by J Edgar Hioover for example, then the current incareration laws.

An example is if somone is caught with a gram of powerder cocaine v a gram of crack cocaine there is 3 times the prison sentence for crack v powder.

why? powder coke is a rich mans drug while crackis the poor mans, so a young kid caught with a few gramms of crack can face up to 30 years inprosion, the kid caught with the gram of powder gets at most a slap on the wrist.

Yes there are issues in the community like you have highlighted, especially the murder rate for young black males on each other.

Highlighting these issues via a movement like BLM is a good thing however the movements actions do nothing to help garner support for it.

Like I said above the real issue isn't race it's class, poor is poor black, brown or white the US systme is designed to keep the poor poor and the middle class fund the country via tax

businesses are investing because they are positive about the future of american economy under Trump, if they were worried or nervous about Trump it would be going down, that's how it works. Nobody would be investing if they thought they would lose money.

As it is in this country.

Would enjoy a wee revolution at somepoint in my lifetime, a wee off with their heads laugh for the unfortunate Tories in power. Total destruction of the places where the power is based such as Eton. All old money toffs shipped off to St Kilda for the rest of their days.

And actually implement a forward thinking socially based movement going.

Do you not think investment (when looking at trends over the last few years) is not more to do with the improving global economic climate, (as seen both in China and the EU - UK aside) rather than warm feelings of positivity from Trump?

BS, they are only here because black people (men) are basically being murdered by the police in the USA for years, unjustifiably, and before anyone says, it's their fault, there's loads of videos out here of punk cops shooting people out of fear, rather than them HAVING to shoot them.

Look at the bigger picture here Stretty, yes crack is more addictive however it's the same drug in a different format.

Do you genuinly believe these prison sentences are for the safety of the community and not designed to keep private prisons full?

It's far from a stupid statement it's actually based from research / reading on this very issue I can't say this for sure but I'd be confident I've looked into this matter more than you have.

If they want to highlight issues black people facing then why not talk about other things like the rate of single motherhood in the black community, disprpportionate crime rates, glorifying gang culture etc.

_____________

On a scale of wealth to single motherhood/crime rate etc statistics it doesn't differ between ethnicities. Poverty stricken communities have higher crime rates because they are fighting to survive, whether they do it right or wrong.

Put any ethnicity into slavery in a country. Then when you release them, strip their rights and don't 'level the playing field' and you will see people struggle to reach the higher levels in society.

The problem in America is the huge inequity and lack of resourcing. Now it is effecting the poor white class as well as the rich get wealthier and the poor get poorer. Then the media manipulates them into believing the other side is at fault when the big businesses/higher classes rinse the 'little guy' for everything they are worth.

So a 17 year old kid living in a ghetto is caught selling a few grams of crack should be sent to prison for life?

this might also be true,

but lives ruined by each respective drug cannot be compared.
