He must feel that holding, per, kos, Monreal, kolinsac and mustafi are enough.
Plus he played el neny at CB pre season.
We mare over stocked in that area as it stands.
Mustafi - LK - Nacho
Holding - Per - Sead
Bielik-Elneny-AMN
Would seem to be 1st Choice, 2nd choice and emergency cover if Gabriel and Chambers went.
And, of course, the option to switch to a back 4.
£10m for a nutter like him, seems a reasonable price. Looks like he'll replace Cancelo who's been linked with few clubs in the pl
Hopefully this is true as I can probably count the number of good games hes had on one hand.
Most likely Per will just take over the games donkey played last season.
That's because you know feck all about footy

That defence personnel isn't good enough to challenge for the title. Long on numbers but short on quality.
Per is slow and creaking, Kos reportedly requires injections to play and Holding is inexperienced.
If Gabriel and Chambers are to be sold, I advocate topping up the proceeds to £60 million and tempting Southampton for VVD.

Decent fee for given his quality and injury tbf.
Think we still need a top class cb and midfielder though.

Don't worry GT, content just likes to stalk arsenal fans
Don't really rate him but still would have kept him. He wasn't that bad as part of a back 3 and £10M is a crap fee, think we paid more than that to get him
Tu meke angry mood clouding his judgement
Wenger has said we need to reduce the squad. It could be he will accept offers for one of a few fringe players in the positions that are overstocked. So it could be if someone had come in for either Chambers or Gabby first they would be sold. Hypothetically speaking of cause.

Indeed.
I think that Chambers will stay now.
Would rather him go than Chambers, not that I rate either of them very highly.
I rate Chambers. Learned a lot on his loan and is young.
Chambers played RB for Boro. And got relegated. Not the greatest learning curve for an Arsenal CB.
I've heard we can get upwards of £20M for him. We would be mental not to take that.
26 years old, very much in his prime.
2 years left on his current contract.
Has settled very well in a rotational system.
£10m ? Absolute madness. Not a chance.

A team failed and were relegated ffs.
They were relegated WITH Chambers
Just like RVP was never good enough as we won nothing with him

£10M is terrible business. Valencia are well backed, too. They can certainly offer much more than that. If the story is true Gabriel must be kicking up a fuss or something

Think Gabriel wanted to go. Never has been adapted to English life. Havent learnt or improved the language.
