Terrible, how can mankind end this? How can we come to solution where inocent kids and families can feel safe walking down a pavement or a pedestrian precinct and not be a target for extremists!
How did we even get to this point where it's any city in Europe that's a target for a hire van terrorist.
I was in Oban a while back and I was thinking how safe it felt, away from all this extremist stuff. Being away from big cities like London etc.
Maybe it's a generation thing, and in a decade from now all this nonsense might have passed.

Terrible news - I may be wrong but I get the impression that the majority of posters on here have visited Las Ramblas/Barcelona at some point - I was there for the first time in 2015 and was planning to go there again next year as part of our cruise. It really brings it home to you that nowhere is safe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My son is going there at the end of the month for a few days Steve scary stuff
what kind of numpty gets his phone out to films bodies on the ground
ther is probally somebody looked at them and realised it's somebody they know
Lau - we all get animated on here about the football clubs that we think we "love" but, they really mean very little compared to the safety and happiness of our loved ones
Ye say that Steve but I'd murder my family to see Celtic win the champions league
Was there this morning ffs!

People will always look to report/document events like this.
I can understand your sentiment but it could be that those filming have no first aid training etc and a lot of those who were filmed were clearly beyond help, or were already being attended to.
I don't agree with it, as it's a symptom of modern life but it is important to document these events.

Video evidence can be important in things like that!

Whether the victims family finds out instantly or several hours/days later, it doesn't change the outcome.
FFS Polloks I thought the guy on CNNs video was bad enough but the cant that taped that is despicable.
Surely whether you are trained or not your reaction surely is to help people in any way possible, even by simply holding their hand or comforting them.. Your reaction should not be to start recording and uploading.. Ffs.
As I said.. in the footage I've seen, everyone was being attended to already. Those that weren't were obviously beyond it.
It's not something I'd do, I barely film anything, but I can understand others need to do so.
