TL had 23 mins to impress. He looked competent and confidant and was buzzing around in the 'No 10' position. But I noticed that he had a tendency to play more down the right. He was on with Martin which didn't help either cause and to me it seemed more of a cameo rather than a well thought, analysed tactical decision in the " go and have a run around son and we'll sort out where you play next week" mould.
Thanks View. I suppose that was always going to be the case. See what the Grimsby game brings.
I think for both the club's and Chrissy's sake his departure to another club - loan or sale - would be a good thing. I don't know if DCFC and Burton are open for business with each other?
Ramdini, Martin was the Messiah only a few weeks ago, why is everyone writing him off so soon? When he left last year most of us missed him. I still think/hope he comes good, but he needs players around him for his passes and now if Lawrence is as good as we expect/hope this should help.
I wouldn't mind us signing Sam Galagher though.
VC!O, I am simply reacting to what he has so far shown - which is only disinterest in exerting himself. And we do have an apparently effective alternative.
No doubt we'll see as I don't think he will leave. I think he will be a bench-warmer though. Nothing would please me more than being wrong and that he will chip in with a dozen or so goals.
I don't understand the anti-Martin league either VC.
Why get rid of a highly accomplished hold up man. He gives us the ability to change things either off the bench or from the start.
I hope he gets a goal on Tuesday, it'll do him the world of good and get the moaners off his back.
With the attacking options at Rowett's disposal it's highly unlikely Martin will start that many games but he will provide a quality option from the bench.
He doesn't want to go either as his family is settled here so I don't see him causing trouble if he doesn't start.
Nugent said after the match yesterday that Martin was very vocal and supportive in the dressing room despite not starting and Rowett likes the different type of play Martin can offer.
So Martin stays for me and perhaps bring Jacobsen from the U23s into the first team squad the learn the hold up game from our No9.
Ince brilliant first touch.....
'Ince, heavy first touch'
Reading between the lines, from what they've said in interviews, both Vydra & Nugent are looking forward to playing off Chrissy. Tom Lawrence doing the same would be an interesting option as well.
Anyone noticed Fulhams form has dropped off so far this season ?
If you're all correct it augers well for The Rams, so I hope you are. But it's going to be a bit crowded in there. The same old, same old, problem of many more players than places.

The way Ince failed to involve himself in their goal was sublime. Credit where it is due Ang .......
Standing ovation
We made a decent player out of him
I imagine both Martin and Bennett will start Tuesday
I'd like to see Timi Max given a go
I hope if we do ever go up again we don't became a club full of plastic happy clapping fans π‘

What are Bolton like?
I've read they are quite poor.
Who knows Strett, we blew em away
Good win.
3 points on the road is always great
They are a club in turmoil, possibly looking at administration next week. From people who I have spoke to that went to the game, we should have killed them off first half, they didn't know what to do with Vydra and we created a lot of good chances. Took our foot off the gas and let them back into the game second half.
Did me Head I'm Tommo. The dominance was almost embarrassing and we should have (I know 'should haves' are bollox) been 4 up at half time.
