KTF1 - sorry chief, I'm not sure I'm fully understanding what you're saying. Are you saying we should try playing traditional wingers with Albrighton on the right and Fuchs on the left?
If so, I think that's a good plan B for Slimani and Ulloa, but there's no point with Vardy. 4-3-3 and 4-4-1-1 is best for him as it allows him to play on the line and get in behind. Players like a Mahrez or Townsend are suited to helping him with that.
But if I've missed your point, I apologise 😂
With regards to the journalist, what an idiot. What I would say though is that we need to find a way of playing without Okazaki. We haven't yet. He's almost the first name on the team sheet!
While it's an idea that I wish we had implemented at times in the past*, this isn't for me at this time. Fuchs' crossing is a great threat and Chilwell's direct running is useful, but neither provides the attacking threat that a genuine winger would. Incidentally, this is why Schlupp's usefulness was underrated in his time here.
*Stearman and Maybury springs to mind, at a time when our wide midfield options were just terrible.
Yeah, Chilwell LB and Fuchs out wide, interchangeable.
Won't be as successful as having a left footed traditional winger but I meant as a possibility in the absence of one.
I think both Fuchs and Albrighton contribute balls into the box/front line that aren't necessarily balls on to a players head all the time
