Benny 👍
You talk about money about which you can only dream of but it takes more than that to motivate and galvanise a team to 'click' as we sometimes discover.
Anyway, where best to park at the Macron? 😀
It's possible you could face a very poor Derby side as Wolves did. Sunderland seemed to make heavy weather of us. The Preston game was difficult to read, in that Derby played much better as a team and as individuals. But that may have been down to the fact that Preston were much weaker than Wolves. I'm afraid I fancy Wolves will be at or near the top come next April/May.
I hope - 1st for a Derby win and 2nd - for a very good game and no ref foulups.
If I drive I park on Victoria road I dont mind the walk but a hike down to the ground(20/25 minutes walk) but don't get stuck in the traffic round the ground. After up Victoria road, over the top (b6226) and head into Bolton or the next junction of the m61 down old kiln lane just past the Bob smithy worth a stop for pint or food. Near the ground park under Frankie and Benny's. Not done this for a couple of years so don't know if any parking restrictions.

Hi Benny
We've spent a bit, but don't forget we're still in the back on transfers so far this season. Some would say we've sold our 2 best players.
Anyway, best of luck for the season, with the normal proviso, of course.
Does Romance in Durango still come on here ?
Not heard from him for a long time.
Oh transfer please don't talk about them it makes me cry when others talk about spending real money we got none not had any for a long time now and if we did find some we are not allowed to spend it on players we got to give to barrister lawyers and all sorts first.
Paying the bus fare for a trialist is a luxury for us.
Not much to talk or discuss pre match these days is there we know nothing until the team sheet goes up and even them we haven't a clue as to how they are going to try and play.
Just hope today is that soon win PP was talking about after the Birmingham game and that the sick bay corridor starts to be cleared of players soon
Burton beat Birmingham last night
Sheffield Utd against Barnsley just started
Last night wasn't good for us Burton being odds on for the drop lets see how another one Barnsley get on before we settle down for our match
Barnsley beat Forest who I was starting to fancy alongside Wolves for near the top. I have Bolton supporting friends and so can easily wish you luck except for today.
There go Sheff Utd 1 nil up that Sharp fella watch it go crazy now I said it
Its going to be weeks if not months before this league settles down into some sort of order this season now were are here.
I fancy us for a win today. 2-1 We could definitely do with a win at home. If we get one, I think we could say it has been a good start to the season.
C.O.Y.W.M.
if we are to do that swie I think we have to get at em early doors.
Struggle to get anything today. Doesn't get any easier hull and Middlesbrough next. Going to be a struggle.
That young lad Jack Dearden off the wireless is 65 today I've not seen anything about a rendition of happy birthday breaking out can somebody keep on eye out for a birthday message on them big telly things
Howard TaylorA Dervite Beevers Karacan Madine Cullen Armstrong Pratley Moarais Burke
Subs
Alnwick Little Alf Buckley Robinson Derik Wilbraham
Sorry
I just spotted a missed attempt already when trying to spell Morais
All over in the early one Sheff Utd beat Barnsley 1-0
We start the day in 20th hoping we don't finish below that line tonight.
Nice to see Robinson on the bench looks a good younge player and a game changer,
But the bench is probably were he will stay, Along with Derik.
If we can stop them scoring 0-0. Yes I hope I'm wrong 🤔
In the hotel bar. £12.50 for a round of 3 pints. On the bar is a sign. Pie n pint £7.50 Just a pie £4. Ken has bills to pay. Won't pay themselves.
Jeepers what sort of pie is that for £4
3 pies for a quid in a paper bag at the Burnden Pie Shop nowt wrong with that until some daft sod moved the club to a posh new home
Just think what Sports Shield could do with that £1 they have in the bank 2 pies for Dean and 1 pie for Ken.
