Best case: Spartak Moscow, Porto, APOEL

Worst case: Real Madrid, PSG, RB Leipzig

I'd also take Feyenoord or Maribor as best case. Wouldn't like to see us paired against Barcelona or Atletico from pot 2.

One fo them teams I know nothing about so assume are rubbish

I think we giove Barca a right game over two legs, we probably lose overall but we'd score goals v them, Messi and Suarez though could have a great time v us.

Best case: Monaco - have lost a lot of players and look like they could lose Mbappe, also play a style of play we could really take advantage of

Porto - again I think they'd really suit us and it's not a long trip which would help with our league campaign

Feyenoord - think we could handle them comfortably

Worst case: Real - yikes.

CSKA - think the long trip and they could cause us issues

Madrid are some side at the moment, would be great to get them in the later stages if we progressed but would rather avoid in groups as can't see anyone taking much from them

Real, PSG, then CSKA or RBL. We always get tough draws. Just today we've been drawn away to Leicester in the league cup. Not easy. Arsenal and United always get easy ones. Arsenal again at home against Doncaster. United have Burton.

This draw later will put a group with four relatively weak teams together but will end up having Real, PSG/Dortmund in then the likes of us, Spurs or Napoli all in the same group.

This but probably Leipzig from pot 4.

What I expect UEFA to give us is

Real Madrid
Dortmund
Us
Celtic

But by now we should know that our problems are when we play the smaller teams who park the bus. That's why I was happy with Hoffienham when we drew them. They are an attacking team. I didn't want Nice or Koebenhavn.

So may be best draw for us
Bayern or Monaco/Barcelona or Dortmund/Celtic or Feyenord. These are all attacking teams and not so good at defence. Real now have tight defence.

Again, our defence is very good

I think we can do well in the CLK this year, the better the team the better we generally play.

We saw last nigth that a team who decides to play a high line v us is opening themsleves up to us getting in behind on a regular basis and the better sides will not sit in v us.

Could be some great games to watch for us.

We got City at home last season in the league cup and Chelsea away in the FA cup.

People seem to think we always get easy draws which is simply not true.

I have a feeling we'll get a tricky group today, not that I'm too bothered as I don't think we can win it this year anyway so bring them on.

Should be some really interesting match ups with the strength of teams in pot 1, 2 and 3.

I really want Barca. I want to us to batter them and put them out of their misery.

I fear no one in this competition. we are good against good teams. I would rather play Barca than Spartak Moscow or Besiktas

compare each round separately. We have Leicester away you have Doncaster at home. When we had Burton you had a non league side.

Yeah I also kinda want Barca & Leipzig just to show them who's boss.

Opening cup draws last season - Plymouth (went to a replay) and Burton.
Season before - Exeter City (again a replay needed) and Carlisle United (went to penalties)

Then hope we get Celtic instead. Watched them last game and their defence was all over the place. Lost 4-3. Good going forward though. Suits us.

None of those teams can defend so would be fantastic to watch.
