He bossed it today. BT sport gave him MOTM
Martial played well. Looked lively and was creating problems on the left.
Pogba definitely motm. Fellaini has definitely improved under Jose, usually comes on and does a job nowadays.
When's your defensive unit due a proper test, is it any time soon?
I didn't see it with Martial. Be happy for other people to make a case for him though
Leicester are a solid team as well, will do well this season.

Stoke away next
Thought Martial was one of your better players
Watched most of first half
Crossing was not good enough
Joilly at the back?
Good performance with Rashford off the mark, another clean sheet and more good stuff from Pogba and Matic.
Martial did ok. Needs to stop dropping behind the play all the time and look to get wider and isolate his fullback. Especially when the game is narrow and congested like it was today.
On the down side, I'm still struggling to rate Mkhitaryan as a player. Loses the ball a lot, can't beat players and to be honest, doesn't look a Mourinho-type player - odd given that JM signed him.
Also, our right hand side is pretty anonymous as an attacking force. Valencia provides width, pace and power but no end product and Mata/Mkhi want to come inside. A Mahrez would look good out there!

A couple of good runs in first half one led to a chance I believe
Wouldn't be against going for Mahrez actually
I thought Jones had another standout game today. Pogba was influential, but Jones was immense again.
The spine of our team is this season is what is making us stronger as a whole.
Also Pogba and Matic and Jones and Bailey partnership are our biggest key areas for me.
Whole team solid, top save from the best keeper in the league right at the end as well, I also like the way he is happy to use his feet when he can, something Lloris fails to do.

Which is why we must NEVER sell him to RM.

Yes i also think this about DDG too. Even when less 'active' this season he is still ever so reliable and confident when needed. He has added more to his arsenal of qualities this season.
Phil Jones game by numbers vs. Leicester: 96% pass accuracy, 6 clearances, 2 aerial duels won, 2 tackles, 1 clean sheet, 0 fouls committed

Not the point I was making. Against a team that defended well we probably would have drawn that game. But we kept plugging away and got the goal we deserved.
*drawn that game last season
Leicester won the league playing with 35% possession but we beat them at home robb, its always their game plan to sit back but they also try and score with vardy
Its the teams who come for a draw we struggled against
