part 2

Following the Apertura 2014 tournament, on October 2014, he achieved the title of CopaMX (MEXICAN CUP), for the first time ever, in the history of the Club.

Showing and proving the excellence of the work made by Pedro Caixinha’s coach team, Club Santos Laguna was named “the 2014 BEST CLUB of all CONCACAF region”, by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) on the “Club World Ranking 2014” annual report, published on January 13, 2015, where Club Santos Laguna is listed, for the first time ever, in the group of the best 100 clubs of the world, coming in the 58th position, of the Best Clubs of the World.

Following the amazing achievements of 2014 described above, Pedro Caixinha started 2015 doing a deep restructuring/renewal on the squad, where the most valuable, experimented and influential players of the team left the club, transforming the team to the youngest squad of the LigaMX (average 23,5 YO). Even so, he achieved sensationally the title of Champion of LigaMX (MEXICAN LEAGUE)!

With this title, Pedro Caixinha is the most victorious coach in the history of the club and the first European coach to win the LigaMX in the last 35 years!

Personally, he was awarded by the LigaMX (Mexican League) with the Trophy of the Best Coach in Mexico!

Immediately after that, in the beginning of Apertura 2015, Pedro Caixinha achieved another historical Trophy with Club Santos Laguna, the Campeón de Campeones 2015 (1st time ever in the history of the Club), beating America FC in the Final, and fixing 3 Stars with his name in Santos Laguna’s Stadium!

After this last achievement, Pedro Caixinha decided to leave the Club Santos Laguna, on August 15th, 2015…

Pedro Caixinha, is known for his strong and determined character, with great leadership and work spirit (as a team and for the team) where he shows his immense entrepreneurial capacity, putting in practice a modern and innovative training methodology, idealizing, using and taking advantage of new technologies that we currently have available and that are both pleasing to all athletes, motivating and strengthening the unity of the working group, thereby enhancing the final results to be achieved.

His strongest concept is “dominating all the moments of the game”.

Did Pedro write that himself?

He's got quite a lot of experience of coaching and seems to have done well in Mexico but the Rangers job is a pretty big change for him. In the end it's down to results of course.

Standard is a good bit higher in Mexico than Scotland obviously, so to win the league there with an outsider is obviously a huge achievement. Higher standard trophy than any manager in Scotland has achieved.

But Sutton wants him sacked, yea you let him sign 10 new players, get rid of 10 existing players and sack him for drawing with hearts at home

Saint Pedro.

The Sutton argument was just Sutton being a wind up merchant. Pedro just repeated himself which riled Sutton somewhat as he didn't get an answer he was looking for.

Was glad Pedro didn't get drawn into a petty argument.

I don't think it was a wind up, Sutton wants him sacked, Sutton is a total clown , when he asked him about the best squad quote he made back in March ffs, Pedro said how many times have you coached ?

Was it an argument?

or one of Pedro's soundbites coming back to soundly bite him. Some bears lap it up though, the Portuguese Mowbray has them eating out his hand.

Wasn't an argument.

Don't think Pedros got anyone eating out his hands. Got it all to prove as hasn't gone well so far. That said we've got better players in and if we hadn't got a man sent off against Hibs couldve been on 3 wins out of 4, so I'm giving him a chance.

I'm sure you do, imagine using a Portuguese quote instead of telling the press to fack off

Terrible that

One thing is certain Pedro will not be bullied by the media, Sutton probably thought Pedro wouldn't come up to the gantry but he did, Sutton tried to shout him down like he did with big dj but Pedro stood his ground

posted on 28/8/17

just seen it
haha
that's nothing really

i can understand sutton not understanding what pedro meant but by the 4 standing by and letting him repeat the silly question leads me to believe they are just as thick ally and big butcher included

i tell my wife every day she is the best wife in the country
telling her she's not the best but she's all i can afford wouldn't do her confidence any good and the standers would drop around here
ha

telling me none of them understood why a manager would say that to his team is beyond me

Hector

You do know Jose mourinho used the caravan / dogs quote a couple of years ago and the press lapped it up, Simeone tells his squad they are the best squad in the world, it's not Pedros fault that Scottish football is to thick to understand him

Pedro's funny, I like him 😊

Sutton 'grilling' Pedro was nauseating and embarrassing for Sutton. Even when we thought he couldn't look more thick and amateur he goes and brings his nonsense to a new level.

What a complete embarrassment to himself and to BT Sport.
