I was quite stunned at some of the comments after our draw from supposedly sensible fans.

As I recall we drew a few times last year. Does anyone genuinely think we'll go unbeaten for another season or something?

I certainly don't and was there on Saturday saying to Master Ginger 5 "at least you were here to see the run come to an end".

Although I do agree with the sentiment I think he comes across a wee bit arrogant when talking about the fans sometimes. That's a few times he's brought it up. All in all the support has been the best I can remember tbh.

Always going to get a few groans but fck me it happens. Watching the Madrid Valencia game the other night and the Madrid support were non stop with their groans and booing etc.

It's mental but a lot of it comes from people forgetting what's going on in the big picture.

The team travelled to Kazakhstan and it's safe to say it wasn't our easiest games The first half was shocking but 2nd half we were all over them and should have won the game, a draw was probably a fair result overall but it's still another game unbeaten domestically and thankfully we are only two points behind our challengers this season.

We're getting it with some United fans in the Championship. They expect to be trouncing everyone despite the fact we're scheidt.

Big idiot who sits beside me spends half of every game on his phone and the other half shouting for Celtic to get the ball up the park.

Having said that I still believe that Craig Gordon isn't a good enough footballer to do what we are asking of him at times.

I accept that he gets played into some bad positions by defenders but even when he has loads of time his passing can be atrocious.

I'd still like to think we'll be looking to replace Gordon sooner rather than later.

He was chronic against Astana and that goal on Saturday was just comedy gold ffs.

RNR - fans need to be calmer though and he is trying to drill that home i suppose, he is right, he is there to do whats best for the team and neggy vibes won't help.

said it at the astana game, they held the ball for about 3 minutes and fans starting booing astana, but you could see what was coming, the minute we got the ball and lost it people went daft.

Good point. Some fans are desperate for him to fail so they can get back to what they love doing and criticise him.

no one is asking for them to lump it up the park, we just want to see the ball moved quicker up the park instead of faffingaround the back after 70 mins at home to St Johnstone thats all

all 3 were very abject performances, I can see the bigger picture the first 4-6 weeks of the new season is built around CL qualification however the football on display has been very poor in those games and the fans are allowed to get a bit annoyed

as I said no one wants the ball lumped up to Griffiths they just want to see a bit more urgency

nnh gordons pass was really lazy, but i dont think the defence helped at all.

they passed it back and stood there, it lacked any type of responsibility and tbh that annoyed me more than anything. That goal had been coming, there has been too many nervy moments like that and it was bound to happen eventually.

also, gordon is in his thirties and played his entires career in a different manner, so to teach and old dog new tricks is never easy and i think he has got better at it, to his credit, but is nowhere near the level u need to play that way.

that said, you could have nuer at the back but if the guys in front of him shirk responsibility and composure the way they do then it makes no difference, i thought it was pure schitebag stuff.

Gordon is a decent keeper I think I may have been too harsh on him this season

he's missing Boyata and Jozo in front of him

however the 2 goals we lost domestically were 100% his fault

Saturday was the ideal game for Roberts, Hayes came on and to be perfectly honest showed that he has been a terrible signing sadly.

He's wild with his shooting and when he gets past his man his right foot is useless, I know he's predominantly a left winger but he should still be able to do the basics on the other side ffs.

nah i'm not having that jfk, Gordon has to take 100% full responsibility for that on Saturday, outside of the left foot

we are missing our cb's and we build from the back, so in that sense the foundation of our attacking play is buggered right now.
