It's strange one, he has publicly stated he is happy at Arsenal and yet not signed a deal.

Probably been told by another club if he sits tight they'll sign him in a year
I don't know what club would go in for him especially at the wages hes demanding. I think he will stay just because arsenal haven't had an offer for him, you'd think of a player wants to leave he would be busting a guy to impress potential buyers, not Ozil though.

Because it's all part of the fake PR he and his team pump out on a regular basis to make him look better. You wouldn't think it on the surface but the guy is almost on a David Beckham level of obsession with his public perception and cultivating a very specific brand image. See that cringeworthy statement he made after the Liverpool game.
God I hope not. Has he played this year?
We are losing the kind of players we should keep, and keeping the kind of players we should sell.
I don’t mind losing him...he is clearly not the type of player we need...but in current situation its best he stays for the shake of club.
As bad as he's been, really can't understand why he didn't play on sunday

Yeah has he been injured or not match fit? When will he play his first game of the season?
I'd be delighted if a good offer came in for him. I would never pay Ozil anywhere close to what he wants. Hell, if I had my way, I'd give him a pay cut. I wouldn't want to lose him on a free either. A sale is most favourable, but no offers seem to be coming in.
I think he wants to leave for free in the summer. Probably has an offer lined up. If he was ready to sign im sure the club would have announced it. What with all the news of players leaving and not signing deals over the summer, having Ozil sign would be a good news story for Arsenal to announce. Think he's just saying he's committed to look good
What injury does he have?
No idea why Barcelona don't come up with a cheeky bid. He'd do well over there as well.
Another loser of a player that needs to be sold for top whack
Ozil has built this reputation that he doesn't work hard for the team and goes missing in big games. Funny that is hardly ever the case for big games for Germany.
The real problem is your manager. He allows him to get away with it. The German coach doesn't.
There's no fear of backlash in that Arsenal team. They aren't bricking it after a bad performance which they should be.
Ozil would be fine if he had somebody pushing him and not accepting what we see under Wenger.

True about Wenger's lackadaisical approach, but Ozil's lazy nature has been something that's been evident throughout his career. Mourinho recognised it at Real and frequently subbed him off early, dropped him at times, and famously tried playing 3 DMs in certain big games to tighten up the middle.
I would think Ozil would prefer a new contract. And as wages come of the books he is bound to sign an extension.
Now whether that is a good thing is another question altogether.
Ozil is clearly a better player than what he has been over the last three years or so at Arsenal.
A different club would bring more out of him, it's just not working at Arsenal.
He's not a player that is in demand though, you don't hear of any interest for him from anywhere.
He will just run down his contract.
No...we're quite happy for you to retain him
He knows he cant be substituted whether he plays well or not.

Is it Ozil who goes missing or the players around him? There has got to be a reason why he goes missing for us and has never gone missing for any other team in his career.
