Ox- Good Riddance

Sad to say that I think Wenger is out of ideas, and unable to motivate the team. If he has any decency he should assist the bleary in getting in his replacement immediately

Ox is miles better than Bellerin at RWB - probably at RB too. When you have a useless player like Bellerin in the squad, there's no reason to sell Ox.

I am not slightly concerned with his departure. Like many other players he will regret. He wants to play CM role which he think Chelsea can offer, will wait and see.

Bar pace and power he has nothing else.

It's football, not darts. Pace and power matters. The likes of Xhaka, Elneny, Ramsey, Holding, Chambers, Mertesacker, Giroud and co could do with some pace and power.

His "regret" shouldn't be relevant to our concerns, but what we could miss out on with his departure. Ox is a player I've reserved loads of criticism for in the past, but he's been one of our best players since April; probably THE best. He has had more man-on-the-match performances than anyone in that time and his driving runs have been of immense benefit to the team. Think some of you are in a bit of denial.

Conte will definitely not waste him at RB, that was a ridiculous experiment. Good player, strong, fast, many times better than Ozil. I wish him the best. He deserves a better club than the joke we have become.

He may not have fulfilled his potential at Arsenal (AW's fault) but that doesn't mean he's not a good player. I wouldn't be surprised if he steps it up a notch and we see the Ox we would have liked to have seen at Arsenal.

Which would again tell us... AW's fault.

You think he's good enough for CM at Chelsea??

Is he getting ahead of Kante or Bakayoko. No freaking chances. He hasn't got half the ability of Cesc/Willian or Hazard. Hell even Pedro offers more.

Yes, it's very useful. You're a bit obsessed with trying to prove pace is irrelevant and that's ridiculous. There's a lot more to football than athletic gifts, but athleticism matters a lot. Salah and Mane's goals on Sunday would not have been so if they ran like Giroud.

It doesn't have to be CM. He can play several positions, like out at the flanks. Just not at RB.

From late last season he has been arguably our best player. We should have built on that. Instead, we dumped him at RB, does that make sense to you?

Really man? More like if we can defend properly the goals of Mane and Salah didnt happen.

On another note and I really dont know why do you brought in Giroud in this discussion he made some goals like this in the past as well. Who is in denial?

posted on 29/8/17

And yes ....to have pace is good but not alone decisive to win the title.

Their pace frightened the feck out of our defense, regardless of how badly we defended. So, you are in denial. I don't want to have another pointless argument with you about Giroud. Good luck with that.

It's good to be quick edin, you can run for buses and enjoy sports day as a kid.
But to be good at football it's also good to be good at football. Being quick and good at football is also good.

And who here has said anything different. Seems you feel like talking for the sake of it. My initial comment about Ox was addressing the dismissal of his "pace and power" as if it's an irrelevant quality in a footballer.
