Think there's a big part of him that still wants to prove to everyone he's able to do well his way. Winning with a load of small technical players without having to spend a fortune. Should have given that up once fabregas left. If he went back to playing in the style of the invincibles, and buying similar style players he'd probably do much better now. But he's insistant on carrying on the project he built around fabregas

Bumped up to £10 million when he penned a new 2 year deal.
Like Wright rightly said: people that should throw in the towel for Wenger has massively let him down.

You have a point but please do us all favour and drop the traitor's name he belongs to his ego, certainly he's never done anything to merit the hype.
I actually think Wenker is purposely ruining your club, so when he eventually leaves it will be in such a poor state the new manager will need a few years to turn it around.
I think Wenker secretly can not bare the thought of another manager coming in and doing a better job than he did.
