If we got those three players it would be one of our most productive windows ever. Every area of squad weakness would have been addresed, and some.
Just Barkley and Aurier and I think it has been a fantastic window for us.

Aurier has been imminent for 3 days now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Foyth was flying in to finalise his deal for about a month. Cant must have used a hot air balloon
I'd love today to be a day where we can just sit back and watch everyone else scramble about because we'd got our deals done already, but that's not going to happen under Levy.
Doubt I'll be pleased with anything that's done today. Just complete the Aurier deal and announce when it's done rather than trying to drag it out to create some false suspense.

I think today is a time not for worrying about our first world problems, but to think of those more unfortunate than us.
Sanchez off - check
Ox giving up 60k a week to leave - check
John Major of coaches still in place - check
Looking to let go of two senior CBs - check
Arsenal Fan TV foaming at the mouth - check
I almost feel sorry for them. Almost

I genuinely feared they were going to kick on over the last few years, more cash to spare as they were over 10yrs in to the new stadium and had new sponsors etc.
The club is imploding though. If today does not bear some fruit for them, the next 10 days will ferment a lovely atmosphere.
First Europa game in a fortnight, to rub it in, followed by a trip to Chelsea
Riyad Mahrez - Prob go Barca
Ross Barkley - Chelsea I'd say
OP, why has it been a poor window. This is not fantasy football, where you get players coming and going at will. Spurs have shifted on a couple and brought in a couple to compete with what is already a good first XI. Exactly how many players do you want Spurs to get. Bringing in lots only unsettles the first XI players, who will then be wondering if they are out of the team. Another striker would not go amiss, agreed, but just buying lots of players to sit on the bench is not the answer.
And OP, who exactly would Mahrez and Barkley displace in the current First XI, none is my guess. Aurier will at least take over from Trippier, but the other two would not be shifting any of the current first XI, so why buy them?
Think Aurier will be announced very late tonight and that will be that.

We don't have the same finances as the top 3 teams financially (Chelsea, United, City)

Do you want us to win the title ?
This is the problem , all the other top teams can bring on players of pretty much the same quality where as if we lose any of those 11-13 players we struggle and Poch has no faith in them
We are champions league and after best season ever in premier league its a time to keep building not sitting back and letting others overtake us again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course I want Spurs to win the title, but just buying lots of players at ridiculous prices to try to keep up with the financially doped trio of United, City and Chelsea is the sure why to financial disaster. There is more than one way to skin a cat, then just spend, spend, spend. Leicester found a way, should not be beyond Spurs to find a way.

Not at all mate, Spurs have a good current first XI, then they have Rose, Lamela, Wanyama to come back, have just signed Sanchez, have Aurier all but signed, plus promising youngster like Walker-Peters and Winks to cover. That is not just 11 players is it?
Lamela will be like a new signing......................

I don't see the need to panic and buy loads of players? we have a solid squad and good starting 11, with Aurier to come in we'll be just fine.
