Yep tell city to increase offer to around £70Mil and then just bank the money. The whole Arsenal transfer situation stinks.

I'm 100% the Lemar bid was just a bluff.

and more importantly...entertain the rest of us with your ridiculous shinanigens

Are you still planning to sign Sterling...that'd work too

If Arsene actually does some proper coaching, and injects tactical discipline in the side. we still have enough without Alexis to mount a top-four and Europa cup challenge.
And there is always the January window to bring in re-reinforcements.

That's exactly my wish too. Sell him and keep the money: since there's no time to get in a replacement.

It looks like Sanchez is going to stay, it would have been nice if he came to us but certainly not the end of the world.

Onto Sanchez, he's going to be one unhappy bunny that could cause problems for at least the next 5 months and he then may move on for an absolute cut price fee in January.

Not to city though 😩

Ah well, we can now get him on a free next year.

What did Arsenal value Sterling at - £15m?

Why not put in a bid.

Selling Sanchez to City is idiotic. Idiotic.

Keeping Sanchez (a player who does not want to stay, is not well liked due to his attitude and who will not really affect where we finish this season) is idiotic. Idiotic.

He was there last year and we finished 5th. What makes you think he will single-handedly drag us back into top 4?! Watch how he gets to Jan, signs a pre-contract agreement with City, then faaaacks off with an "injury" for 4 months or plays well within himself to avoid injury and then leaves on a free. You think that would be better that 60 odd mill???

Do you really think you are competing with City right now?

Do you think the dog banner pushed him over the edge? He's basically refused to play since then.

I can't believe City wouldn't be willing to let Sterling go for Sanchez. I mean it's only Sterling.

posted on 31/8/17

Sterling has been arguably our best player so far this season, his goals have won us 4 points in the last 2 games alone.

One of them was a lucky deflection though.

He's got nothing on Sanchez.

Which one was a deflection?

Against Bournemouth

Watch it again, never touched anyone.

He turned away to celebrate the second the ball left his boot.

Just seen the goal again. Pretty sure it deflects off the Bournemouth defender who's right in front of Sterling. I thought that at the time because of the way the ball loops up slower than it should.

posted on 31/8/17

Who cares if he isn't well liked? This is a man's game. So we should sell to City because of that?
I have no qualms with selling him. Just sell him abroad.

Can't believe people are cool with selling a top player to City.

No. But so what? We should sell to them because we're not?
Pathetic reasoning.
