Wenger is weird that way. He will not buy for the sake of it. Players like Park, Inamoto etc were bought for PR purposes and Wenger never played them.

So unless he rates a player Wenger will not even go £2m above the price he thinks he is worth. Just look at the deals we have missed on because of that.

Its arrogance in my opinion because he feels no pressure of the sack. However he has kept Alexis in that same mindset because he think he needs him to get back to the top 4.

Strange what happened, looked like wenger was fighting for his reputation and job at the start of the TW, making all the right moves, then it just all went to pits.

It works for France because football is slower and look at the specimens they have in midfield.

We should have sold Sanchez - he doesn't want to play for us and Wenger just didn't have the balls to tell him to go. He will hang around like a bad smell disrupting an already disillusioned dressing room. Wenger should have got rid of Sanchez and Oxlade Chamberlain early and spent the money on replacements.

Team spirit and togetherness are more important than any individual player. If Sanchez really is a rotten apple then keeping him will be a mistake.

As we obviously don't know exactly what's going on behind closed doors then no one can say with any certainly whether it's a good or bad decision. My incling is it's a bad one given our track record of monumental fack ups

I was pretty furious at the time when we sold RVP to United but looking back it was the right decision. Our ambition was nil, RVP went on to win a title which his talent deserved.

I agree with you, its gona be tough for Wenger to manage these 2 players who want out. I dont know what Ozil is still doing at Arsenal. Sanchez should be sold his negative influence in the dressing room is not good for anyone.

Why not when he's got all the raw attributes needed to do so and now got a manager who doesn't feck sbout with his players like Wenger does. We'll see Dubbed but I get the feeling that all of you whom were "Yeah yeah get him out cos he's rubbish" are gonna be the posters slating Wenger comes seasons end giving it "OMG Wenger's so dumb letting player that good go to another PL tesm as cheap as 35mil."

Why drop 3-4-3 formation?? Why not adapt according to opponent...
