The thing that struck me is, we have a plan. The manager and backroom clearly wanted to build a team that likes to attack aggressively and actually look to win games.
We have signed Alioski and Saiz who have shown they can operate very effectively in that final 3rd and added Ciwicki who is said to have enormous potential. Grot is another who has huge potential.
As for Lassoga, he is an interesting one. He is clearly a replacement for Wood. Ove read underwhelming reviews but I've also read from individuals in Germany that should we supply him, then we have a top striker on our hands.
So The plan has been clear and the fruits are starting to show.
Lasogga concerns me.
Suggests that despite knowing Wood probably wasnt going to stay for a month all we could get was a loanee.
As he is on loan for a season and on such high wages one can reasonably assume that he will be our main striker.
He scores about 1 goal in 4/5 games.
Is that the funds from Chris Wood fully and reasonably re-invested?
Lets hope we have a Yeboah not a Strandli.
We are talking about his scoring record in a league far beyond the quality of ours.
What I see on here is that people bemoan someone scoring a hatful in a poorer league and yet also bemoan those who struggled in one of the top 3 leagues in the world?
Let's get some perspective, fresh start, new player, let's SEE with our own eyes what he can do.

Where is frank these days, as in the poster imfrankstrandli?
Attaining a playoff place and then losing would be a failure.
Lasogga is an interesting one for me - very glad that we have got him, but wish there was an option to buy. If he has a rubbish season, then we have lost his wages money, but no big fee. If he plays well either his value rises or he goes back to build on that with Hamburg.
Happy with Cibicki too - looks like he could be a handful in this league.
Lasogga is quoted as saying he was fed up with training yet going home knowing he wasn't going to be picked.
Fresh start for him to prove himself.
There is an option to buy at £4m.
Cibi is the buy of the window for me - having seen him only on YouTube 😱🙈😉
Haven't seen that option to buy clause anywhere Stoopo - where did you see that? I am much happier with that.
All I saw was the live transfer update from YEP:
3.40pm: Lasogga details
The German joins Leeds on a straight-forward season-long loan. There is no option to buy.
Lasogga tells LUTV: "It was time that I had to change something and I think Leeds is the right decision for me now. I want to give my best for this club now."
