Lets hope that back doesn't make a recurrence on his return to England.

He should never have signed that new contract earlier this year and I was surprised that he did.

We've seen with Sakho that the coach will take things personally and unleash his wrath on the player, Coutinho is in for a rough ride and his long contract means he has very little power

Coutinho has been fully humiliated in this window.

hell get over it when pulls that shirt on with 5 European stars and sees the quality in way we play

I think he’ll get over it, Robb.

There’s some pretty heavy sheite going on all around the world, so a multi-millionaire being asked to honour a contract he signed doesn’t weigh very heavily on the scale of things.

Neymar loved it so much, he left, and is now being sued, so perhaps he can help his mate get over it.

Like Poch did to Walker when it became clear he wanted to leave?

Dropped him and put an inferior play into the side in Trippier.

I am sure he can speak to DDG having gone through the same sadness, when he gets back

Would love it if Liverpool drew Barcelona in the CL knockouts. The things Messi and Suarez would do to their defence

Coutinho's face would be a picture.

Looking at Barcas defence I'd fancy Mane, firmino and Salah to tear their defence apart too.

Probably end up a 5-3 or something.

Yup it was real "quality play" at Vicarage Road

Don't get carried away just cos you turned over a very poor Arsenal side one week
--------------------------------------
We drew a game because an offside goal was allowed and then our dodgy defence somehow managed 2 clean sheets on the bounce in the league, with a comfortable wins in both CL qualification games.

How's your start to the season going?

He will be even more inconsistent now his dreams have been destroyed. Pool should have sold him, no point keeping someone who really doesn't want to be there.

True, if you get hold of the ball that is. Your midfield wouldn't get a second with Paulinho in the midfield

You've conceded 6 goals in 5 games with City to come.

Good luck

Players like coutinho and Costa are all that is wrong with the mercenary, player power, pop star side of the showbiz thst is football these days

Love to say feck am and let em rot in the reserves but with such high asset values unfortunately they are pandered to and appeased. That's the modern game at the very top these days but Liverpool and Chelsea have very good teams without these players and should both be top 3 this season. When Barcelona or Madrid come bullying there way into a players head there really is only one outcome unfortunately.

It's a good question Robb. The only answer I can come up with is that I'm chuffed to feck! Not only have we broken Barcelona's dreams, but those of countless oppo fans, mainly mancs.

So yes, things are mightily rosy this morning 😊

Player power? I don't know if you've noticed, but we didn't sell him, so not sure what your point is?
