The video is so clear.

What on earth are something talking about it being a yellow

Genuinely can't see how the mousers are arguing otherwise. Do they ever do something wrong?

His eyes were on the ball only problem I see with that is his foot is high , but never a ref imo.

What about the part where he kicks him in the head Edward?

Some people arguing yellow because unintentional.thdy are not the rules though. Intent only significant if FA want to pursue lengthier charge, which they won't.

That incident has nothing to do with Mane rightly being sent off for recklessly kicking the keeper in the head.

Ridiculous refing. Was intentional too.

Red all day

Of course it's a red. Utterly ridiculous attempt to win the ball. Not saying he wasn't entitled to go for it, but he had to win it and make no contact or he was always going to walk.

I'm not trying to defend Mane , by the rules of the game it's a red , it wasn't deleberate as he clearly has his eyes on the ball, so for that I would say only a booking.

It was reckless and dangerous. Doesn't matter if he was honestly going for the Ball.

Surely a high foot crashing into a players face is the very definition of Dangerous Play. Sure not intentional but certainly very dangerous all day long for me.

It wasn't malicious but it was completely irresponsible and a nailed on red. It doesn't matter a toss whether his eyes were on the ball or not.

Did anyone see the Portsmouth game last weekend on skysports?
Portsmouth forward who is 6,4 stooped a little to header the ball , defender booted him in the head , got booked for it. All refs need to sort it out.

I'm pleased to see this article. I was watching and immediately thought it was a blatant red. I couldn't believe the pundits saying it was harsh.

It wasn't intentional, and he was looking at the ball as opposed to the player. But he knew the keeper was coming out, so to raise his foot at that height is dangerous play. If he nicks the ball away before the keeper arrives, then fair play. He didn't, he kicked the keeper in the face.

I think Neville said 'so what if it's the other way around and the keeper clatters him?'....well, then the keeper would get a red card.

It's very straight forward.

I find it odd that Klopp, supposedly one of the top managers in EPL doesn't even know the laws of the game !!!

To be honest, at first in real time I didn't think it was even a foul. But when you see where his foot catches his face, it is endangering the safety of another player which is an automatic red. He didn't mean it but it's still a red. Unfortunate really.

Cast iron red card in today`s climate, Mane was out of control, reckless and endangering an opponent, whether it was accidental or not is irrelevant.

The only reason there is heated contention throughout the media is because it is a Pool player that was sent off.
