It's dire. Look at it in context and it's far worse than RDM. Can't bear the thought of what Bruce will come out with.
He's hopelessly out of his depth. Hoping desperately that he goes now.
Not even Blues being in the relegation zone can cheer me up. After all, we might join them.
Even against 10 men for most of game (ok evened up after the hour mark) we couldn't score, it's a disgrace. All these dropped points are causing more upset for a season that looks over from what I can see. How on Earth we make the playoffs let alone the top 2 I don't know. We will have to average a win every two games with a few draws from now until end of season just to make playoffs and seeing as we have won 1 in 7 I don't see that happening.
Bruce is a nice guy and done it before, but he is a dull, long ball manager who boasts one of the best teams in this league yet constantly plays negative football. The only reason we deserved to win yesterday was because of that early sending off, if that hadn't happened I'm sure Boro would have controlled the game. And even after dominating last night we can't even score one goal to take the points. Hugely disappointing and just shows Bruce isn't up to this. Unfortunately, who would we get to replace him? Wouldn't want Allardyce as his football is even worse, not convinced by Pardew, and Karanka's Boro team last season were even more negative than Bruce.
Kodjia needs to get straight back in the team, Davis is a rookie and not up to it. Needs to go out on loan. I'd play Kodjia, Adomah and Snodgrass against Barnsley with Jedinak and Whelan in front of back four and Hourihane behind Kodjia. Back four of Elmohamady, Chester, Terry and Taylor. If we could just scrape together four or five straight 1-0 wins, that would do me and give me a bit of confidence.
Afraid to say, if Bruce fails to win again on Saturday he has to go. He's had enough time to get us winning and it ain't happening. Dunno who would come in, but he's currently doing just as badly as RDM and RDM was sacked for it, should be no different for Bruce.
Reckon ANY of the current Championship managers could come in and do a better job with this squad. His better performances in the past have been with limited resources where he's grafted out wins with limited defensive football. Give him too much and he can't manage it.
I'm still sick of the fact that we signed a number of players in January with on the face of it great reputations and he's been largely unable to integrate them. To cover for that he imports his own buddies. This is a dire way to build our team.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!
