Oh no, it's definitely "a gear"

But I think a player that makes things happen is more important than a keeper. Ddg been great for united. But to say he is best in the league? Not been in top 4 for 2 seasons

He's been great for my FF team

impressive range of passing, and excellent vision to set teammates free.

David Silva is great but,kdb can cover so much ground, pass, shoot, tackle in all areas of the pitch. The best player in the league at the moment and the one most likely to be man marked by Herrera.

No chance is he the best player in the league. Outstanding player tho, wish we'd kept him

Outstanding player no doubt but not the best, IMO.

KDB always starts the season excellently and fades badly as the season progresses.

For me on song and as much as i am loath to admit it, it is Eden Hazard

The ginger prince is a total player, short an long range passes shots he does the defensive work.

Looks a lot better with decent wide players pushing on too.

I just hope he keeps up the consistency, he had too many off games last season.

It certainly wasn't one of Mourinho's better judgements three or four years ago that's for sure.

Silva is their best player who supports kdb to do his thing. But kdb is quality. Was poor first 20 mins against Liverpool but them went into overdrive after mane sending off.

He's good, but he's no Jamie Pollock.

I miss the tactical advantage of the spencer prior long throw.

Looks like he'd be 5hit at football as well.

Definitely never got picked first when the kids all played on the park.

Apols for going off on a tangent, but what are your early impressions on Bernardo Silva?

posted on 14/9/17

happy to sign him, he gave us a hard time for Monaco last season. It'll take him time to bed in, but I think he'll be a good player for us.

posted on 14/9/17

yeah but can he deliver a no-look corner like Spanish Dave did, right on Dzeko's bonce, in that QPR game?

Bernardo has been used sparingly so far and when played has done ok, nothing outstanding as yet but you can tell from his calmness that he has got so much more to show.

I think the idea is for him to gradually take over from Silva senior which are big boots to fill, not literally.

David Silva is still our best player.

Kev has been brilliant this season but Merlin is consistently good.

Silva does things people don't notice aswell, picks up pockets of space, then sucks players in, so kdb etc have space to play in. Picks up the ball deep, between the lines, goes past a player. Just class.

Yep, Dave is a very subtle player, does a lot more than is immediately apparent.

Koma, that's actually something I very much like bout Bernardo Silva - players who play with that apparent air of calm are generally a mental step ahead of everyone else. I've not seen the lad all that much at all, but from the first time I watched him he seemed like a special player.

He played very well last night, mot really played much in the league.

I just think kdb intellect for a pass is ahead of silva. I rate both but I think kdb is better now. Not surprised considering where they both are in their careers. Still think silva is 2nd to him.

Him and hazard are the only players in the league who do it imo, quitely controlling games just by moving players out of position and dictating play. Very subtle but effective. And then on the odd occasion they'll explode and do something on their own.

Still don't understand why Chelsea let him go - first time I watched him for them I remember saying that he looked the part. Mind you you could put together a pretty decent team with players that Chelsea didn't rate.
