14 Jan 1980 Chelsea v Wigan Athletic W 0-1 FA Cup
11 Nov 1981 Wigan Athletic v Chelsea W 4-2 League Cup
05 Jan 1985 Chelsea v Wigan Athletic D 2-2 FA Cup
26 Jan 1985 Wigan Athletic v Chelsea L 0-5 FA Cup
Chelsea first played Wigan in 1980. These are the only games that occurred between the Club's in the '80s. Out of the 4 of them I was actually there for 3 of them.
The next time we played Wigan was in 2005.
So the 5k that you claim we got against Wigan in the 80's simply never happened. Do some research.

The desperation to find fault is fantastic.
We've just beaten a cracking team in front of over 67k yet you feel the need to post this drivel with no knowledge of the facts.
Maybe you should try and find a woman to share your life and help you grow as a person.

Tottenham have the 5th highest average league attendances in England. Chelsea have the ninth.
And without the Roman era, Chelsea wouldn't be in the top 15.

Shame you don't know your own history.
You only entered Full Members Cup/Screensport Super Cup once.
Check your attendance v Everton for a semi final.
A 3000 attendance in the FA Cup as recent as 1991
Your entire history as a "big club" starts in 2003.
Anything before that is just trophyless pathetic attendances, and of course the entire club being worth £1.00 in value.
Your entire history of 14 years to built on foreign investment. All of it. For such a notoriously xenophobic fanbase, the irony is truly obsurd

We've played Luton once in FA Cup since the 30s and that was at Wembley in 94.
Is this another imaginary game like 5k v Wigan? We played Wigan six times in our history at home. Attendances range from 16k to 42k.
