Don't think he's that far off IMO, you recently criticised Khedira (who is also a regular for Juve) for being 31 and past his peak, pretty sure the same argument could be made for a 34 year old Chiellini. Notwithstanding he is still a very good defender.

Their ratings are only likely to head in opposite directions and I certainly wouldn't do a straight swap between the two given their respective ages.

Same principle applies in that they are not as good as they once were.

Could also make an argument that CM's can tailor their game more as they get older as opposed to CB's. Think most expected Can to replace Khedira in CM for Juve but that hasn't been the case with Khedira also recently signing a new contract extension.

For all of his experience there were certainly times in last season's Champions League where age appeared to be catching up with Chiellini.

Its cool, you obviously need to do a deal that's right for you for Chiesa but have no interest in parting with Bailey who I rate higher.
