That's the literal interpretation that any grown adult with common sense would know is not what most people mean when they use it.

I've not misunderstood anything.

If you take the expression literally then you're a fool. If you don't, then it's just a standard expression used in a light hearted fashion to tell someone to go away.

The forum is amazing. Some people will argue anything.
