Do u remember the night match in 79 Brum when we as usual had both ends and rangers were hiding in the seats and everyone was singing "can u spot the rangers fan?"
I would have been there 69. But they all seem to blend into each other after 40 years
West Ham and Millwall don't
Millwall away 76 definitely stands out
Laters mate just about to take off from Amsters!

Great days 69, of all the away days back then my least favourite was QPR. I used to love the turning up at places like Hereford, Oldham, Plymouth.
Forest and Wednesday were always particular favourites of mine.
QPR though was like a home game where we'd just rock up take virtually the whole ground over, may as well have been a home game!

Hi Kitty how you keeping? I hope you are well.
Wednesday used to be a great day out as well. Only ground I ever visited that issued you with padded cushions for your seats. People were chucking them all up in the air when we were there. Do Wednesday still do them?

All good here Chelsea
No cushions any more . . . . . . they made great missiles . . . with a soft landing.

Was that in the Leppings seats?
Went to Hillsborough few times in 80s, our promotion and League cup battles.
We played an incredible 6 games in 10 days: Wigan in cup on Saturday, you on Monday, our replay 2 days later, Leicester on Saturday, Millwall in the cup on a Monday then you guys again on the Wednesday.
I went to all of them. How the eff did a 14 year old manage that? A lot of fare evasion !!!

We had them in the North Stand but it seems that they were also available in the West Stand (Leppings Lane) (away fans) going on what Chelsea since Summer 69 says.
