Could've sworn there was an article pre season. Can't remember who wrote it though. Same as last seasons one by the United fan that got laughed at all season.

It appears they are going through the same process as both Spurs & Liverpool did when they sold their best players.

Spend £100m+ on half of a new team and wait for them to gel (or not in a lot of cases). Unfortunately, I don't think Everton managed to spend as wisely as either Spurs or Liverpool.

We went out and bought 4 players for one position and now he stubbornly has to fit them all into the side.

He should have just got sigurdsson and then brought in two fullbacks and two wide forwards and a striker

So far we took points from City. The players that came in summer need time to adapt to Koemans philosophy.

Signing Rooney was a huge mistake imo.

I was delighted when you took him off our hands because for a while it looked like we may have been left with him.

People within football (other than Jose) seem to have this blind spot with Rooney. Poor player nowadays.

He'll bang one in the weekend now

Worrying signs indeed. I can't believe how these highly paid managers can't address the obvious weaknesses their teams have

Expect to lose today. Koeman needs more time to work with the new players, the squad needs more time to gel.
It's the lack of passion in the recent performances that concerns me. If we lose today but put a decent shift in and show signs of turning the corner then at least that's something.
The worst possible outcome is another loss and another lackluster performance.
I think we need to pull together and get behind the team and the manager at this stage. We can still come good. Although a striker in January really is a must.

Agreed, you can still come good and avoid the relegation.
