'2 Manchester clubs who at this moment in time look like they are both going to be the main challengers for this title'
It's too early to say who the challengers will be. This time last year everyone said it would be those 2 and both were nowhere near.
True but just judging by the form and start they have both made.
Don
I was well fed up yesterday after another home draw, but on reflection, I have thought well that is the third clean sheet of the season, third game unbeaten at Wembley. Only one defeat and still 5th in the table. Fortunately Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all drew this weekend.
It is just a bit annoying though dropping points in games Spurs should have won at a canter, Chelsea game aside. Mind you I expected to drop points at Everton and Newcastle, so I suppose it has been swings and roundabouts.
Need something from West Ham and Huddersfield away though to keep pace with the top four.
Hopefully Poch will actually take the cup competitions seriously this season, if Spurs Prem form falters.
Feel like you can tell within 10 minutes if we're gonna win or not, came out so slow and lethargic, clearly not taking them seriously at all.
I thought at the end of last season that we might actually get more points away than home this season. Nothing I’ve seen so far to change my mind! We’ve won last 4 away games at a canter
Got 3 favourable league games coming up (2 away at WHU and Hudders) and 1 at home to Bournemouth. Should be aiming for 9 points out of 9 in those to give ourselves some much needed momentum. If we can't even beat Bournemouth at Wembley then we might as well start ruling out any league win at the place.
Does anybody know what the crowd was at Wembley yesterday. Suspect aroundabout the 65,000 mark again.
Spurtle , when is westham ever favourable ? Those Pi** caravan munchers will play s** all season but suddenly turn into Barcelona against Spurs. They are obsessed with us. So westham away for me despite the hammers being shocking is never a easy game.

65,366 according to BBC, not a bad crowd for an unfashionable fixture
Sandy , it didn't look to full capacity put it this way mate
We will fill our new ground no problem every single week
Positives > Janssen scores
Negative > he left
If we can get a top 4 place this season that would be a good season. Going into next season at the new stadium with a CL spot should be the priority. This should ensure retaining our best players and give us a more appealing attraction to sign top players to further improve the squad. Good cup runs or even winning one would be a bonus.
If we can achieve this the momentum and confidence we will have thereafter will be enormous.
Don, no away game should be easy but we're in a good vein of away form (we're probably channeling our positivity in our away performances this season to compensate for Wembley), and it's a good time, if there ever is one, to play West Ham.
They had that extra incentive to want to beat us last time cause we were chasing Chelsea for the title, which isn't there at the moment. I'm more worried about playing them at Wembley.

The Turkish league is pants to be fair. I'd expect him to score a lot of goals in it.

Absolutely will have no problem filling the new ground, I will go to more games than I do Wembley, especially the evening matches.

Wouldn't be surprised if West Ham beat us 1-0 again!
Part and parcel of football nowadays, teams will come and sit back and wait like we did against Dortmund,
Not an ideal start, but at the start of the season I would hace been pretty happy with 11pts now.
A - Newcastle and Everton - 4pts
H - Chelsea, Burnley and Swansea - 7pts
We are behind where we should be, but a win at West Ham would almost get us par I would say. I would say 12pts after 6 games would be good, 11pts would be fine
Playing at their soulless bowl should be a walk in the park after playing at one of our own.
