I did neither & was gobsmacked at the number of people around the ground who were applauding him tbh.
On reflection, I think it was a reaction to the negativity (lead by the BU) that was all over the media prior to the QPR game & then again on Saturday. Most Blues don't see Kenwright as the devil incarnate, they would like someone to take over from him who was wealthier, but imo it's only a small minority who bear the man malice.
So imo the applause was both a show of respect & a message back to the whiners who are making the same point as the man himself already has i.e. that we need someone to take over who's prepared to throw his own money at it, as the business simply doesn't generate enough cash.
I was surprised to at the amount of fans applauding.
I was at the QPR game and was surprised at the amount of fans booing.
Suppose winning 1-0 when the applause came, and losing 1-0 when the boo`s came doesn`t surprise me at all.
Why else would anyone have applauded? Nobody wants BK in charge of Everton in 5 years time but at the same time he does his best in a bad situation.
The Blue Union are fighting a losing battle and only have themselves to blame. 100% of Evertonians want investment in the club. If the march had been instigated to demonstrate that fact, then there would have been thousands of people attending before the game.
Instead they make their main aim to see a second board appointed to force through a sale of the club. The march itself sums them up perfectly. 500 people being led through the streets by a clown
Are you sure it wasn't just Dom Jolly relaunching Trigger Happy TV?
TB: we need someone to take over who's prepared to throw his own money at it, as the business simply doesn't generate enough cash.
And until that person comes along, we're stuck with BK so we have to make the best of it. Support him whilst looking for alternatives.
Dom Jolly?

For a split second I thought about something serious to post.
I was surprised to at the number of people applauding Bill around me but I guess that in the face of all the criticism, most of us do pull ranks and defend our own. At the end of the day he is a blue. A muppet, but a blue.
I have to say though I was really pleased with the reception given to Drenthe - he looks like he could be another astute signing. Hopefully Moyes will see enough in training in the next few weeks to get the first contract offer on the table, would it have to wait until January though?
Looking forward to seeing him again on Saturday, first home win of the season, Timmy to score first and a 3-1 win

The Blue Union are not your own?
If you paid attention HM,you would have posted an answer to a question i asked you re The Tory Bugle a couple of days ago.
'The Blue Union are not your own?'
I'm not claiming them, if they were mine I'd have disowned them as if they were ginger at birth.
Archduke Karl Ludwig (1833-1896), brother of the Austrian emperor, was a man of such piety that on a trip to the Holy Land, he insisted on drinking from the River Jordan, despite warnings that it would make him fatally ill. He died within a few weeks.
On the other hand, some are far more charitable.

The moral of that story is dont drink from the jordan cup.

Once upon a time, I wouldn't have minded drinking from Jordan's cups.
Plenty of room.
