So its gonna be 1/2 empty then to make your point valid? About 24k then or your still chattin breeze!

Half empty? So you are suggesting there will only be 24K in stadium tonight. You might just be a tad wrong with your ridiculous prediction. They'll be 43K+

Hmmm, I'm wondering if I should paraphrase fallowfieldred here...

really though,no matter how you dress it up,you would have expected a sell out tonight woudn't you?

right on cue...

It may have something to do with the fact that you cannot buy a ticket unless you have purchased a ticket before. I don't know if this is a necessary precaution but I think there are some concerns about ultras getting mixed in with home supporters. I've got my ticket and I can't wait either

Just dont embarass us english fans by doing your ridiculous, immature back jumping celebration thing

Not that I have reason to be worried, doubt you're going to have much to celebrate tonight anyways

posted on 14/9/11

so there's thousands of city fans who have never ever been to a match before then?

but I think there are some concerns about ultras getting mixed in with home supporters.

Actually this might make a bit of sense, dont really want any unsavoury incidents on their CL debut (off the pitch i mean).

Good luck tonight chaps - do the EPL proud.

or is it to stop Gary Cook getting in & kicking off with the owners?

Now he's "not really here" anymore.

I'll be there with my mates, supporting my team, whatever the result.

You can spot the city ultras. They carry two inflatable bananas!

that's bollix about being worried about napoli supporters buying home section tickets. surely the fact that they'd have an italian address when trying to buy tickets would see them rumbled anyway? funnily enough, city don't sell tickets to anyone without previous purchase history who has an m postcode for games against united. see, even your own club knows that this city is ours.

"so there's thousands of city fans who have never ever been to a match before then?"

Yep, just as they'll be thousands of fans of other clubs who have never been to a match before.

Anyway, why are you commenting on a thread that has nothing to do with United? Does this mean that you're obsessed with us? (Just following your own train of thought here.)

"surely the fact that they'd have an italian address when trying to buy tickets would see them rumbled anyway?"

There's just so much about this comment that completely misses the point.

I for one as a long lfe United fan hope City win tonight. Infact i hope all the English teams get through except Arsenal cos, they're French and their fans are poo - not all but most on here!

Does anyone genuinely believe City won't make it through the group stages, I mean look at their team!

It's full of world class, CL experienced, full internationals. I can honestly see City reaching the QF minimum if they avoid Barca, Real and ourselves.

1. There are around 25,000 Italians living in Manchester.

2. Tickets can be bought in person. If no scheme is in place, then anyone can purchase them.

"i'm just commenting on it,i didn't create it"

That's it? That's your reason? It just gets better and better.

ok then ripley, how come liverpool never insisted on these limitations when they played napoli at home last season? coud it be because they had no difficulty in selling tickets, despite the fact that it was only a europa league game?
