Ultimately it's another example of Liverpool not giving talent a chance, but this case we are talking about Solanke.
because let's face it, when Mane is back and bar injuries, just how many games do you see Solanke getting in the PL?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Absolutely no idea because the scenario hasn't actually happen yet.
However, Origi got 34 EPL appearances last season so you'd think Solanke would target circa 15. Which in a first season wouldn't be bad.

I agree it wouldn't....but whilst I am not going to attempt to strongly defend Chelsea on giving young players a chance.....Salah was a pup when he was at Chelsea and a much inferior player than now, plus he had Jose as his manager and many better players than him in the squad.

True, albeit a pup with a couple of seasons of first team football and CL experience under his belt. He wasn't totally inexperienced.
Tbh, most big clubs are the same - they buy young talent and some make it into the first team and some don't.
The only reason Chelsea has this reputation is that (a) you buy more young talent than most due to your strategy of buying and loaning out (not a criticism btw, just the way it is) and (b) you had Jose for a lot of years who favoured experience.

That has little relevance when you got rid at the first sign of trouble.
Solanke isn't going anywhere any time soon.
He will get lots of Cup football (more than he would have done at Chelsea), and the odd sub appearance in the PL.

As i said in my earlier post, i am not defending Chelsea on this issue.
But when/if Liverpool ever become a club again that is expected by its owners to win or seriously fight for the title and the CL every season let's see how it plays out then with your own club giving young players a chance.

I am with Liverpool fans regarding Salah.Chelsea should have given more opportunities to its youngsters.Even Real Madrid give much more opportunities to its youngsters than Chelsea where there is more pressure on managers and players to succeed by the owner and fans than Chelsea.Chelsea should have given more chances to Lukaku,Salah,Ruben Loftus Cheeks,Solanke, etc.

Salah can do anything. He can take free kicks. Seen him scoring some wonderful freekicks for Egypt. He can score headers like the brilliant goal at Leicester. Mane is also good in air. Salah passing, shooting accuracy and finishing better than Mane. Both scare defenders with their pace. Mane more strength and power and can be unstoppable. Salah is very clever and can take the ball off you without a foul. Mane has been sent off few times with Southampton once agains us and of course this season at City. Salah starts well but gets tired late on. Mane can run for ever
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mane gas far superior passing and finishing than Salah.
