Very fair assessment Sandy.

Hi Maff, your team were very poor, only when it was 11 v 10 did it look like a contest, but even then your team were all huff, puff and high ball. I was not impressed with your team at all.

We were shocking second half the fact it was even a contest in the end is worrying. Lucky we had enough goals after 60 mins to win.

No way did West Ham deserve anything from the game though, they are p15555 poor and we could have scored more. They only started playing once we got the sending off and it lifted the players and the crowd

Not sure you can say Spurs were shocking second half, they scored one goal, had chances to score more, and the sending off changed things, as it usually does when 10 plays 11. But up to the sending off Spurs were in cruise control.

I think the red was harsh, both yellows didn't need to necessarily be given. I don't quite understand how 2 or 2 minor fouls necessitates a yellow card. However, Aurier, knowing he was already on a yellow, shouldn't have made any risky challenges, he gave the ref the option.

Also I think the push on Carroll by Sanchez could easily have been given as a pen, the other claims were laughable though.

Either way, we entirely deserved the win and on the balance of play; 3-2 is very flattering to West Ham.

Allie should follow Kanes example.
Kane is so single minded in his focus to be the best.
The guys a damn inspiration.
Eriksen is definitely our most important player thou. Totally screwed without him. Red card aside Aurier can be a real player for us!

Got to give credit to Andy Carroll maf

He played some lovely balls in for us

Kane and Eriksen are definitely the most important two, without them we would be fairly ordinary to be frank, even with dele
Levy needs to pay them what they are worth before somebody else does. It’s that simple

West Ham`s penalty claims were laughable, despite Parspew`s best efforts to claim otherwise, the handball was completely accidental and in the other both had a chunk of each others shirt.

The biggest penalty claim not given was the clear foul on Dele when he turned the defender in the box, which was not even given a second mention by Sky.

Great win for spurs yeterday

perfect away record now.

sissoko was excellent. aurier was excellent before his sending off.

2 tricky away matches next week before the international break comes back.

Good post sandy mate. Normally hard for anyone to keep the ball in these games but thought after the initial 10 mins we dominated until the sending off.

At that point we should've bought Sissoko & Dele off for Trippier & Son and played on a fast counter attacking tactics but think poch was to slow to notice.

Good points and same again next week Vs Huddersfield

That is a bit unkind to say Spurs would be pretty ordinary without Kane and Eriksen. Sure they are two of Spurs best players, but then that is being a disrespectful to players like Lloris, Toby, Verts, Dembele, Ali, etc, who are all part of an excellent team.

Sandy , some rival supporter said the other day. "When ever Spurs score, it's always Kane, Ali or Eriksen " .... errr well that's obvious you dope considering they are our 3 attacking players people can't say we are a 1 man team so we are now a 3 man team ridiculous how certain rival supporters will jump on anything despite it being a pathetic attempt at belittling a fantastic Spurs side who have quality all over.

Don, I know it is ridiculous. They say take Kane out of our team and we would be average. Take any top goalscorer out of any team and where would they be. Messi and Ronaldo have scored about 600 goals for Real and Barcalona, take them out of the team, and see what you are left with.

It`s a nonsense argument.

Totally mate. It's jealousy that's all it is. Every rival
Wishes they produced an an a academy product as good as Kane upfront. They rely on spending the likes of 80 mil on Lukaku and Morata. We got our beast from our own backyard and didn't pay a penny

Think Alli didn't get enough praise for last season, 18 goals in the league at 21 mental numbers for a midfielder, if Pogba did that we'd never hear the end of it

Alli should get better as the season goes on. This has been a recent common trend for Spurs.

Great result. I honestly think we'll get more away wins than home wins this season, even if that may be obvious right now. I'm starting to believe the players are putting in more effort into away games to make up for Wembley, or there's something psychological going on there.

posted on 24/9/17

Spurtle , that's the frustrating thing. Imagine our Wembley form was up to scratch with our white hart lane form? We would be pi*** this league. Once again we are going to miss out on the title for a particular reason and this season will be because of Wembley really frustrating. If it ain't f*** those small time long ball merchants Leicester getting a once in a blue moon pit luck title win, its bloody Wembley hampering our chances.

This is the year - and the team - we should win the title.
We beat Wet Spam. Now lets hope we stop dropping points to teams like Burnley and Swansea, and we win the matches we should win - like Chelsea.
Gotta beat the Wumberly spell.
