Oh yea I know that but considering the versatility of players like Gervinho/Walcott/RVP I'm pretty sure most Arsenal fans would prefer to see anyone one of them up front with OX wide right instead Chamakh coming on in any position at any point in any game.

I forgot Park and even Afobe.

I am as baffled as anyone as to why chamack continues to come on as a sub. He has become so useless its not even funny anymore. Surely Park should be considered.

I can't wait to see Park get some game time!!!

Park will score atleast 20 this season

This season as in Autumn alone?

I agree.

To be fair to Chamakh he usually is brought on either when the team are already playing poorly or as a late sub for Van Persie so both those scenarios make it that bit more difficult to make an impact especially as he is not an impact player.

It's not coincidence Chamakh was playing his best football when he started upfront and the team played to his strengths.

As this will probably only ever happen again if Van Persie gets a long term injury then I think we'll be seeing Park come into the team soon.

When Chamakh came on against Swansea he looked very fresh and lively, just a shame he didn't score from that header!

I am looking forward to seeing Park play.

OP has a valid point. We spent what - 12M ? - to but the terrific talented OX. So..can I see him once..even if for 15mins?

Glad everyones looking forward to Park.. I hope Arsenal is the right place for him!

Also I can't work out, was Santos brought on at left wing last night? Like when traore was brought on against Udinese. We've played 2 left backs for the final third of the game in both european matches?

I think it was so they could double up as Gibbs was being taken to pieces by them on that side

With regards to Ox Wenger knows what he is doing. As impatient as we may be as fans, Wenger has to manage the lad with his best interest at heart.

There are so many reasons not rush him into the first team too soon even at 15 mins a game.

So we were essentially 5-3-2? Sorry I just couldn't watch the game last night and I've been looking forward to Santos getting some game time so I was a little confused when he came on for Gervinho with Gibbs still on!

Its all about RYO

Well said machinegooner, just because he is tagged with a large price tag for such a young player people expect him to play in the first 11. We need to let him develop at his own rate, no need to rush him into anything.

Hes tripe.. Waste of wages.. Park should be ahead of him in the pecking order..

Normally I would agree with you but he got over 20 mins at Old Trafford in an 8-2 demolition and Wenger said he and Gervinho were replacements for Nasri and Fab. So you replace world class players with someone that's not ready for Swansea at home?

OP, I said the exact same thing watching the game last night. If we spent the money then they should be playing coming off the bench- they will not improve or adjust if they are not playing first team football!

Oh and by the way Gibbs is poo! terrible defender and lazy, oh and Walcott might as well stayed at home to!
