Injured pumping his boot of a wife.
Worrying if true, but we do have Ihcy to come in, but he hasn't exactly looked fit! Play Slimani, we lose.
Shakespeare said in his press conference that he hasn't trained until today as he's nursing an injury.
Frankly I wouldn't mind Slimani starting instead of Vardy so much; the problem is Slimani starting alongside Vardy.
Particularly if Vardy isn't available, I'd be tempted to give Gray a start on the right wing. We'd need pace in the side and Mahrez's recent performances aren't warranting a certain starting berth.
Wouldn't we start Ian if Vardy is unfit?

I would certainly hope so.
Okazaki and Iheanacho may both be best used as a second striker rather than leading the line - although Iheanacho may be considered as an option there. Slimani is definitely a lead-the-line type striker and has scored goals already this season.
I just have a suspicion that Shakespeare would go with Slimani, particularly since Iheanacho has looked rather lost when he's come on in recent matches.
Suddenly DM has made me all despondent.
Come on Dunge. Get out of that doom room you've locked yourself in since the Liverpool game.
Ian will embrace the chance to lead the line and smash in his first 2 goals for the club after "finding his form". I don't think we've ever seen Nacho lead the line so we don't know if he can do it. He can certainly finish better than Slim.
Although I think you're right - Slimani may start.
Stop it now, no Slimani starting!
What about Leo if his heads cleared.
Or if we want pace what about Musa, he,s got some pace.
I still think Vardy will be having a party at Bournemouth.
If not I think it will be Slimani, not convinced Ian is fit enough to start.
At least if JV isnt fit he has got 2 weeks rest, and that may be why they will risk him n Saturday. He may be vital
at the Vitality.

Phew, all you jokers can rest easy now with your Slow jokes.
According to RL Vardy should be fit to start and basically Vardy's injury is just an easy excuse for Southgate to have one less selection headache.
Iborra is fit to start, Huth and James still out.
They also mentioned it's believed the FA have backed our appeal with FIFA which you'd think can only help!
The funniest won was Ullah staring ahead of Slim now that was funny.
Cheers Nev
Glad you saw the funny side of that one (and Musa)
Havent fathomed out yet how to add a laughing face
