We were away at a Rafa managed side, like are some of our fans so stupid thy forget how Rafa plays and how difficult a game like this can be?

Those facking cants wants the manager sacked so we get an average manager and fight for 7th like the last 8 years. I think those posters are Christian Purslow with different JA names.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don’t think anybody wants him sacked but you’d have to be particularly naive not to recognise that a business based on performance / results can only take so much of falling short of reasonable expectations.

Once again his substitutions were baffling today, utterly bewildering. No obvious strategy for the game and no Plan B when it’s clear it’s not working.
We have no striker, we have no defence, we are 7th below Burnley but apart from this it’s all hunky dory.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly we are 7th on 1st October, get a fecking grip and calm down loads of football to play and loads of time to work on the issues.

Honestly some of you are the worst type of fan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree but next up United and Spurs. We could find ourselves trailing top 4 badly after just 10 games. While city united chelsea spurs look better than us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And if we do lose both?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it will be an extremely difficult task to catch top 4. Considering we are having the same problems for years and the other sides are looking strong

We are about where I would expect in the league, you have to take into consideration the crazy amount of money the other teams have spent, we can improve certainly but top four is going to be a real task this time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, the experts expected you in top 4. Not over
Man Utd Chelsea

One of Arsenal Liverpool or Spurs to join Utd, City and Chelsea I feel.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honestly....I dont think that Chelsea isnt safe for top 4. United didnt play the big boys so far. Hyped up to an extend I dont understand.

I ask cause the competition is so strong now across the league, every side is strong in its own way and can take points from any side in the league on a given day.

Two very good teams will miss out on top 4 this season, this is how the league is now

Of course I'm questioning his future. Our win rate is poor and he isn't addressing the defence.

I'm not suggesting we sack him but he deserves strong criticism.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Questioning his future is basically saying we should consider sacking him. Seven games into a season where we're a point off fourth, playing ok and a season after getting us into the CL despite having the weakest squad. It's literally insane.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. Fickle fooks. Seven games into the season ffs.

You can see where the deficiencies lie. He will address them given time. One valid criticism is he should have already done so.

However he has us in the CL and we play attractive football. We desperately need a bit of luck, so far thjs season weve had vey little. The fact is though that today we were pretty poor , we still should have won, but we didn't play well.

Watching brats throwing their rattles Has become common place on here. It's almost a badge of honour to be the first to say I want the manager sacked, with usually Fred or TVJ leading the pack.

It's depressing but try not to let kneejerkers drag you down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Address them given time ?

How much time, this is post third transfer window now. The latest activity was to lighten Arsenal’s wage bill.

Natural temptation is to blame Klopp but maybe it’s not him, maybe it’s the club, maybe he’s asking for players and they are not being funded.

Either way, our performance is not CL or Top 4, mid-table at best.

Yes, OK.... agree with that, also need a strIker. How long though, how much more time ?

Stop with the fickle shouts.

Yes, we can see where the deficiencies lie but the one man tasked with addressing it seemingly can't.

It's not fickle to start pondering why after 4 transfer windows, the problems have actually got worse.

Throwing rattles out of prams, knee jerk reactions - they're just soundbites to me. They mean nothing because they only serve to stifle debate.

I will always question a manager when they're not winning enough games. He's had 2 years now which is quite a good stint in modern football.

I'm pleased we're back in CL but he still needs to improve his return as Liverpool manager.

Nobody is asking for the manager to be sacked.

Some of you however, won't have a bad word said about St Henderson and Jurgen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You want to question his future. That means you want to contemplate getting rid of him. 1 point off fourth on October 1st the season after he got us back in CL.

That's all. The end. Clown
------

I want to question his future. That's not the same as wanting him sacked, no matter how you're trying to spin it.

I want to see problems being rectified, not ignored.

Do you not think that's maybe because he still wants VVD and still thinks he will come?

He's not going to come out in September and say 'our centre halves are poor but I can't replace them right now' is he?

He's also not going to say to VVD 'I want you still but you can't some now because I have to buy someone else immediately or our fans will kill themselves'.
