3-5-2 is a crap formation for us. Just keep it simple and do what we do best and how we do.
Courtois
Azpi-Luiz-Christensen
Moses-Bakayoko-Fabregas-Alonso
Pedro-Bat$hitu-Hazard
I think 2 upfront only works if it's Morata and Hazard.
I'd stick with 3-4-3:
Hazard Bats Pedro
Alonso Fabregas Bakayoko Moses
Christensen Luiz Azpi
Courtois
Although I expect Christensen will rotated out for Cahill unfortunately.
I agree , we must stick with 3-4-3, and I think also, that it's surely a time for Bats to make a statement and throw some weight around ,if you know what I mean.
Wouldn't go with bats personally
He's just not good enough during the build up play, will score when chances are gifted to him but offers little else id go with no strikers and kill them with movement in the final third
I would prefer to see Pedro play upfront.
Courtois
Azpi Luiz AC
Moses Bakayoko Fabregas Kenedy
Pedro Bats Hazard
With Roma in mind.

Chelseamf who is AC?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i'll help you, it's Andreas Christensen.
Z man , Antonio Conte is a good defender as well .
Given it's only Palace who are playing at their lowest ebb (with multiple unavailability to key players) and with Roma in mind three days later, yes I would prefer Kenedy to start this one and Alonso Roma.
Position needs rotation, Alonso shouldnt be playing full match against Palace and Roma.
If Alonso does start against Palace, then he's on course to starting 3 matches (Palace, Romania, Watford) in 7 days. Unnecessary.
Alonso starting 3 matches within 7 days in the most demanding position doesn't make sense to me.
Irrespective of who we use v Palace...I will be apoplectic if we concede...
should be 0-3

I would rather play Zappa and Moses.
Kenedy is rubbish and shouldn't play anything bar domestic cup games.
We shouldn't take Palace for granted. They are going to improve - we need to stay focused so that improvement doesn't start against us.
I can't see Christensen being picked to play alongside Luiz at the back. They have both so far played centrally at the back - so I think it will be one or the other there, and I suspect Christensen will only play if Luiz is pushed into midfield.
I dont mind Luiz playing in midfield at all....he'd be good there in the absence of Kante..we have plenty of cover at the back

Then you're in a situation where Zap or Moses start twice in three days, not ideal.
Every wing-back gets rotated If Moses and Kenedy play against Palace, Zap and Alonso Roma.
Fine with Kenedy starting this one against the weakest team in the league, bearing in mind combined with a strong side.
If team consisted completely of fringe players against Palace, then that would be a problem.
What is the point of having him as LWB backup, if you're not going to use him in demanding schedule against weakest side?
352 is a waste of time against Palace.
352 should only be reserved for bigger matches.

In addition to that we're going to lose a lot of balance offensively without a left-footer on left side.
With regards to Christensen...played RCB alongside Luiz (Rudiger left) against Burnley, when Cahill got
Recently revealed that he has been training in wide CB positions, I've never been one to claim that Christensen can't play across the back line.
Rather see Alonso start in both PL games and rested in midweek. PL games are more important. Anyway I expect Conte to play him in all 3 games.
