Great performance
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was mate, I was slightly concerned with the team selection, and starting Son, but Poch proved me wrong again. Just a great all round team performance.
very average Liverpool side, but a great performance and slightly concerned from the start? ok then you say one thing and act differently.
Going to be difficult to take over City. I'm not sure where I see them dropping points. They already have a goal difference of 15 more than us.
I think we have to be commended hugely just for being in any title race considering our home ground has changed. But the usual thickos will mock us for underachieving I suppose.

Played it how I wanted ( although obvs wanted Dier to start )
Kane & Son done Dortmund and knew they could do Liverpool too
Sandy completely agree with all of that.
sandy finally got a prediction right about beating us
1 out of the last 10, its about time.
I thought it was a good performance but we were not at our best, there is another gear there if we need it imo.
Pool were awful defensively as predicted, they need a new coach imo, Klopp has not improved them, they make the same mistakes over and over, which comes down to poor coaching.
Still, a good performance and I would absolutely love another 3 points up at Old Toilet next week.

It took Spurs this long into the season to draw an 80K house? They've had a 90K stadium and played Chelsea already.
An A-level team, like Arsenal, would have drawn 80K plus for every game. We were drawing bigger houses than that on tour in Australia over the summer, breaking attendance records with no-name teams as dance partners.

The set up at Tottenham is now so ultra professional, calmly going about their business with the minimum of fuss. Great stuff Spurs. Keep it up.
--------------------------------------------
Still no major titles since 1991.
You really want to keep that up? Surely a mentality shift is needed to get over the line in big games and Finals?
For all Arsenal's flaws, we've captured 3 major titles in the last 40 months.

On a side note, what has happened to the regular Mouser infestation on the Spurs board?
It`s awfully quiet, is there a late night tracksuit sale kicking off in Bootle tonight, where can they all be?
we're gonna knock you right off that facking perch a week wednesday

Sandy, you get a lot of stick on here mate but you are more right than you are wrong. You were one of the few Spurs fans on here saying we could get a result against Madrid and we did. You have been banging on the Spurs will beat Liverpool comfortable for weeks now. Don't listen to the haters ! Our team

Identical record now to the Man United, the team that won the title in September.

The FA Cup is not a major title now it is a reserve team competition. The big boys don`t take it seriously until the semis. Arsenal had some unbelievable luck in last years competition, drawing the only two non league clubs left. Which shows you how weak the competition is, when non league sides can reach the later stages.

Don, I usually am more right than wrong. Of course I cannot be right every time, but over the course of the last three seasons, I have predicted Spurs to win most of their matches, and I have been right I would guess about 80 per cent of the time.
The amusing thing is the ones that ridicule me, are the very ones that don`t have the bolloooox to predict themselves.
I have money on Spurs every match they play, not a lot, but enough for a bit of interest, and am quite a few quid up over the past two or three seasons, also I have backed Kane as top scorer two seasons in a row, and again this season. So not doing too badly.

Yeh but posting 60,000 crowds at the Emirates with thousands of empty Red seats don`t count as filling your ground.

We only count tickets sold, not behinds on seats. Those games are still sellouts.
We sell 59K tickets for Emirates Cup friendlies. If we had played at Wembley, there's no doubt we would have sold 80K plus every game.
