As i comented earlier in the thread how does someone who is a second or third generation immigrant get so angry about his new home,if you dont like the government vote them out we live in a democrarcy,try having an opinion of your own and leave others to there's.
You came here at the bequest of your parents that was a decision they made so if it upsets you that much take it up with them,in the meantime stop slagging of my country,i have to live here you have options which you don't seem to take up,as for a Tory government they are going to be around for a long time so lap it up.

I wonder what the criteria is to receive such a punishment as it does seem way OTT on face value. It must be repeat offenders and so on. Even then, 10 years does still seem to be a lot.

Deterrence by severe punishments has always been a poor method, likelihood of getting caught is what matters so they should ramp up these follow-through checks.

My dad would have been 86 yesterday, plus new work role with covid claims melts my head, but i am kinda glad i missed yesterday, but also regret not being on to maybe calm it, but to be honest, when it kicks off between some of us, it just takes a life of its own.

The po!itics election thread was always bitter, divided, tribal and at times personal and nasty, so pointing fingers at one or two on so called left or right is to take responsibilty off all of us ......over years of heated and hateful debate.


I got it off several here for years and pushed back, but laying blame at the feet of a few for the thread closing is futile...we all drove each other and admin mad.

The right is not to blame, nor is the left or brexit, but US, we messed it up and treated each other like dirt!
