No, it's not.
Your mum starts having a stroke, what's the first thing you do?
Call an ambulance. "We can't get to her in time, can you bring her here?"
That's the primary failure of the healthcare service we all pay in to, remove the private ambulance provision and we could afford to have 50% more ambulances on the road.
So as a primary starting point, let's blame the grifters extracting record profits from life saving services.
THEN let's look at systematic inaction over 50 years, causing suffering, misery and deaths to millions.
THEN we can look at the actions of a handful of powerless individuals on one day.

It is the situation with any protest (even a non violent one such as this one) that a balance to strike between “inconvenience” and “damage” has to be struck, and the consequences of protests such as this one are unknowable before they start. It’s part of the reason why I think the legislation this government is trying to jam through is doomed to failure.

Let's sit placidly by and wait for billions to die,
As Hec has said, why was her son driving her?
because of a fundamental underfunding of NHS ambulances. With two thirds of the budget going to private companies who only cover one third of the call outs.
Because of historic NHS wait times.
Charge those people for murder, she should have been able to access first responder care at her home ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Billions are going to die? In the acid rain?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's your hangup on acid rain ffs.
Extreme weather events, flooding, the failing of the Jetstream, desertification, wildfires, colder winters, warmer summers.
All as a result of climate change. All costing lives in real time. All a trade off for luxuries like your new car, for ongoing climate denial, for 50 years of buried climate science.
This one woman's paralysis is tragic, and regrettable, buy those protesters aren't the sole people responsible for it, and measures against the weight of humanity suffering now, losing loved ones to climate change as a direct result of premeditated inaction to preserve profits is the real issue.

We are about to enter a winter period where heating costs have shot through the roof, the government are about to raise taxes, and are taking £20 a week off the poorest households.
All government decisions. Anyone who dies this winter should be charged with manslaughter

Because it’s an example of a predicted scientific inevitability that was going to ruin the world but didn’t.
Much like your billions of deaths predictions whilst ignoring the actual hundreds of millions of lives saved through carbon-based means of production.
We’ve only really known these issues for 50-60 years.

Funny thing about running for MP... anyone can do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not 100% true. If you have a certain job you cannot, if you've served more than 12 months in jail you cannot and if you've been bankrupt you cannot.

OK. Not really the point though, but nice clarification
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I thought about it years ago but then came to my senses, not worth the abuse, long hours or having to deal with other MPs for jot very much reward.
