Looks like this day release (which isn't a specific benefit for them only) was in lieu of their father's funeral which they couldnt attend for safety reasons

It does. It appears it was one of the killers, and following the funeral was taken back into custody, so does not appear to have been “out walking about”. I’d have told him to gtf with requests to get out for the funeral.

It does not matter where racist killers were born, Bmcl.
In this case they targetted a boy for being white as they were racist and evil.
When victims of racism are white, it appears we treat this racism differently, even here.
