This PMQ’s is foooking crap
She just keeps repeating herself ffs why isn’t this cuuuunt speaker making her answer the question
Starmer just got her to commit to not reducing public spending
Let’s see how the market will react to that statement then, could be devastating
She's literally answering every single question with "we lowered energy bills"
Starmer quoting what Truss said during her Tory leadership campaign!!?
The same bloke who binned off his ten pledges after getting the top job!!?
The hypocrisy is frightening and Liz missed a trick by not pointing that out.
That said she still won comfortably, Sir Keir got a bit hot under the collar.
How did she win comfortably when she didn't even answer any questions

Because her calm controlled style (total contrast to Boris) got right up Starmers rathole.
Having listened to PMQ's for years under both Labour and Tory governments I don't remember much answering of the questions ever going on.
It's got far more to do with drama, theatre and coming across as the person folk can trust to run the country. I think Starmers got a bit of a job on his hands, let's face it he sounds patronising at the best of times and speaking to a woman like that (week in week out) could be his undoing.
I don't think it got to Starmer at all, he was more flabbergasted at her awful responses.
I'd say getting Truss to commit to no public cuts when she'll almost certainly have to if she goes ahead with her tax cuts, means Starmer automatically won.
When they inevitably cut services that clip will be played on repeat.

Because we have differing political views it follows that I am a child molester?
I can't be the only person on here who thinks it's a disgrace.

Calm and controlled? Truss consistently comes across as a mediocre GCSE English student giving a Speaking and Listening presentation on a topic she neither understands nor particularly cares for.
The whiney speech she gave as a Lib-Dem is the one I’ll always associate her with

I think you a lot get caught in semantics far too easily. It really doesn't matter what Truss says. Its what she does to calm markets. And unfortunately both Truss and her chancellor are lost because they never had a clue in the first place. She won backed by the media's desire to have a competition rather than tell truth. We are in uncharted territory regarding private pensions. Ironic that the fools who voted for her will be the first to be hit.
Ten pledges were obviously sidelined during the pandemic but anyone who ever claimed he abandoned all of them obviously hadn't read them... And then hasn't paid attention to the latest party conference where the resolutions were in line with the pledges
Does anyone actually think that truss is doing a good job?

These lot have done a poll of the blue wall and say the results are surprising... Right now the only thing surprising would be a Tory lead
How many of them are now ex-Londoners where the Tories have burned their bridges with well to do middle class voters who mostly wanted to remain in the EU?
So she isnt going to cut GVT spending and she isnt going to turn abount with the budget the tax cuts.
So who is paying?
What the fack is going to happen on Friday, now. It could be a meltdown.
Not enough time to move my pension I have been told.

Home counties I think

Yeah it's the Tory south Blair managed to win over in 97.
If Labour won that then it would be another landslide. It's a very blue area.

Well, Blair and Lib Dems, there was a still fair bit of blue but some big southern seats went red.
