1. The notion that this is a Starmer decision is both giving him too much credit and also unfairly paints him as an autocrat. This was a decision made by a panel of both NEC and REC members.

2. Sharing the stage with Loach wasn't the sole problem but, given the issues Labour had with anti-Semitism and the image of the party as a result, doing so was stupid at best
