No need for sorrow it is what it is.

He has the signs this is all.

Both my grandmother's had alzheimers and ended up in a care home. It was quite harrowing going to visit them and them not knowing your name. The one couldn't even speak. I remember the deterioration prior to going into the care home, as they started to forget things that had just happened or would ask me a question they had just asked me a few minutes earlier.

Even having seen all of that, I wouldn't try to diagnose someone else.

Joe Rogan piped up and offered Hotez $100k to any charity of his choice to come on and debate RFK in person but Hotez is pretty much saying no as why would an expert debate a conspiracy theorist as it validates to some extent their views if an actual scientist agrees to a debate.

Musk is another one who must be ‘sick of experts’.

Seriously though, it’s difficult to figure him out.

I’m not sure if he a) just doesn’t give a fack, and is prepared to throw comments and ideas out unthinkingly without considering their (very real) social impacts (there’s fairly strong empirical evidence for this, I’d say), b) is playing some kind of quasi-Machiavellian political long game we’re yet to understand, c) has become so caught up in his own very confused ideas about absolute freedom of speech that he feels he has to manufacture arguments to prove a point (his beyond questionable history of support for the anti-vax ‘movement’ might suggest this), d) he’s just desperately trying to manufacture clicks, or maybe most simply e) his ego has allowed him to come to believe that he’s learned and understood more about vaccines than the entire medical and scientific communities, representing, as they do, billions of collective hours of study and research.

Side note: Rogan can fack himself sideways with one of those spiky medieval bludgeons. The more I learn about and hear from that man the more I dislike him. He’s nothing but a social and political provocateur with a massive platform, and a sole interest in lining his pockets at any human expense.
