Would you let that guy near your daughter?

Maybe? Maybe not. He was wrong about the diet.
He was wrong in giving advice to young morons that he couldn't follow. "Do as I say; not as I do."
He was also wrong in not explaining to his audience that in his profession some words mean the opposite if what they mean to most people.

But yeah he knew more than the legal minds.
Bet some of you're family members may disagree with that assessment.

New Canadian Tory party leader gives speech at Tory convention telling the party they could no longer be the party of climate deniers. Today I hear they had a vote on fighting climate change. 54% of the party voted against dropping opposition to climate change.

He's also spoke about them being the party for unionised workers.
These guys when in power have passed back to work legislation in every strike that happened.

There is an open goal and these guys are shooting into their own net.

Maybe naturally includes the notion of maybe not.

Loads of people have tried the carnivore diet, it wasn’t his creation.

That was never his advice, his advice is that you try to do x y and z and when it goes south you have face and confront your issues. So it’s exactly what he did.

He did explain what the words mean as did others but some people

Refuse to listen and when it gets pointed out to them they then switch the argument to ‘oh well he should have explained it to me earlier’ lol

I don’t think they would as he has been proven right. His complaint was that the bill was too vague and that people would end up facing charges for pronoun usage, be forced by law to use specific pronouns. They said he was wrong, they slimed and ridiculed him for it, as did you. And here we are and someone has been forced by law to use specific pronouns for his own daughter and been done for it too.

I just realised the only place besides here where I've see that enforced is psychobabble for encouraged is some guy on Reddit Quark something.
I'd actually like to see an example of this in psychology literature, before conceding that anyway.

APA Dictionary of Psychology doesn't have it there. Hmm.

Maybe you could tell me where I can find this definition that doesn't have a reference to the esteemed professor. Any time I Google it the only reference is stories of him defending his words. That is why I went to the shrink dictionary. It wasn't listed at all.

No thanks. You couldn’t even bring yourself to admit that he was right about the pronouns issue when he clearly was so why would I spend my time looking for something for you? I’m not particularly fussed about it either way as it’s far from a vital issue.

You really dislike the guy for some reason even though you haven’t really listened to or read much of him by your own admission.

Each to their own bro but I’m not going to spend hours dissecting minutiae with you.

His use of that word definitionally was incorrect and he did explain what he meant after and that means that he is a hack?

What is more important to you here? Trying to prove that he was wrong to use that one word enforced instead of encouraged out of the hundreds of talks that he has given?

I would suggest that his prediction of people being legally punished for pronoun use is somewhat more important.

Our chat the other day was about Bill C 16 and the pronoun issue, you’ve now switched it to his choice of lexicon and whether or not it is in fact anthropological lexicon? Really?

Nah mate I don’t play these games on here anymore.

Isn't the whole point not that Trump was a master of eloquence but that Biden is equally prone to gaffes as he was.

For some reason the meme that Trump handled vaccines has persisted despite USA being top 5 in the world for vaccine rollout right from the start.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe the Democratic Party created the memes? They love falsifying and cresting fake documents.

the states took over vaccine roll-out in exasperation at inactivity n lack of guidance from the administration

posted on 20/3/21

By the end of 2020, the country was vaccinating around 300,000 people a day, according to data collated by Bloomberg. By the time Donald Trump left office in January, it was up to nearly 1m. Now it has risen to just over 2m.

Government officials and industry executives say two things in particular have helped make the US rollout one of the fastest in the world, despite the challenges of managing an inoculation drive in such a large country.

The first is the way in which the Trump administration spent billions of dollars early in the pandemic helping develop the vaccines, and in return secured first refusal on hundreds of millions of doses.

The second factor is how closely the government has monitored the manufacturing process and the supply chain, helping spot and resolve problems before they become crippling.

Both the Trump and Biden administrations used the Korean-war era Defense Production Act to make sure vaccine makers and administrators secured priority supplies of crucial elements such as glass vials and specialist syringes.

But while production numbers have surged, the federal government has been able to exercise far less control over who gets the vaccine. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued guidelines for vaccine priority groups, but states have control over their own distribution programmes and many have adapted or ignored national guidelines

Data analysed by the FT show that while England has given at least one dose to 94 per cent of people over 65, the comparable figure in the US is around 60 per cent. According to the CDC, over-65s account for 81 per cent of all Covid-19 deaths.

Anyone noticed the notable difference between the reporting of the lockdown protest arrests and the Clapham vigil arrests?
