As always, size (economy) matters. The EU were able to stipulate that GM foods could not be part of Ceta. But when the UK asked for the same, Canada said no.

There were other disagreements (TRQs on chese) and UK access to the Canadian dairy market.

If you watch the video you note the following;

- channel 4 now has the dossier that Israel issued to the UNRWA donars AFTER the ICJ ruling.
- Israel annually receives information on ALL UNRWA workers in Palestine so that it may carry out whatever vetting it deems appropriate.
- at no point prior to the ICJ ruling did Israel name UNRWA members that it suspected of being terrorists.
- the dossier itself makes vague claims of UN being infiltrated by members of Hamas and other terrorist organisations. This is a claim that has been made frequently by Israel, but not substantiated.
- the dossier names individuals Israel claims are terrorists. The dossier contains ZERO supporting evidence to back up the assertions against the named individuals.

I'm not anti monarchy, but I find it shocking that we love on a society where some people get diagnosed with cancer and wait for treatment in line with everyone else and yet the King (or anyone of "importance" gets treatment literally the next day.

My mother in law is on end of life care with cancer as we speak after going through the system. I don't blame the NHS, I blame the government by the way.

Charles has obviously skipped a queue but from my experience while the NHS can be slow to diagnose and misses chances to diagnose early, once cancer has been found they start treatment asap

Sort of. It's firstly doing a biopsi, then looking at what best course of treatment etc. I get it's a numbers thing as they need to treat everyone fairly.

But we live in a society where some lives are valued more than others and as a result receive better and quicker treatment which I just think is unacceptable.

Biggest issue with the NHS in my opinion is the communication between different departments. The staff are overloaded and worked to the bone. This current government are solely to blame for the inefficiences of the NHS

I would encourage you to watch the linked report from channel 4.

There is an issue with private medical, where it used to be you got a nicer room/food and could get elective procedures faster but now we're seeing it give people a better chance of survival, that's down to underfunding of the NHS over the last decade and a bit and will be addressed once the Tories finally leave govt.

And a biopsy is not always possible so it's not the only means of detecting cancer. Like I said, from personal experience (the cancer that killed my mum) missing diagnosis was the issue, once it was confirmed as cancer treatment started that week

There is an interview with someone at UNRWA who confirms that no supporting evidence was provided or has been provided to substantiate the allegations. As was suggested at the time, the reason people were removed was to reduce the risk of withdrawal of funding from key donors. Unfortunately, with only the dossier that channel 4 now has that I have provided comment on above, some donors still took that step.
