The Pro-Trump stance in the face of such overwhelming evidence that, at best, he’s a lying cex offender is right up there with when people used to say Boris Johnson ‘was trying his best’.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's because these people only care about sticking it to whoever their perceived enemy is. They'd happily be led by a Gary Glitter, Jose Fritzl and Ian Watkins triumvirate if they thought it would stick it to the libs.

Its like how Trump appears in the Epstein documents, has something like 30 photos with Epstein, and he was President when Epstein commited "suicide" with the cameras turned off, but all the right wingers who talk up Epstein always leave Trump out of it.

All 11 water and wastewater companies in England and Wales are now under scrutiny over sewage spills, after the regulator said it was expanding its investigation.
On Tuesday, Ofwat opened enforcement cases into four more firms - Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, Hafren Dyfrdwy, Severn Trent and United Utilities - as part of its probe into how companies manage their sewage treatment works and networks.

Good. It’s a national scandal imo, and I’m of the opinion it should be a criminal charge.

Interested to see if Labour allow or block this Royal Mail takeover by the Czech guy

Tories likely would of allowed it (and wrongly so IMO), let’s see if they block it, hopefully so

Although it's the monarch who delivers the speech, it's the government that writes it, with the aim of outlining its policies and proposed legislation for the new parliamentary session.

While a parliament - meaning the period of time between general elections - can last for up to five years, a new parliamentary session is normally launched annually.

The last one, which the King delivered for Rishi Sunak's government, took place in November last year, but we now have another one to mark the new Labour government's agenda.

Although it's a formal-feeling affair, there isn't anything legally binding about the speech. It can outline bills that never actually become law, and bills can also be passed by the government later that weren't included in the speech.

Pffffft.

@kylenabecker
Secret Service director Kim Cheatle, good friend of Jill Biden and believed to have been given the role because of Jill, didn't post snipers on the roof where Trump was shot at because it was a sloped roof and she was afraid someone might slip and fall.

—————

Sounds about right

How the f is this Cheetos lady in charge of the secret service? Under qualified but friends with Jill so gets the post

And don’t mean to necessarily blast women they just happen to be the incompetent ones in this situation, but there’s a video of one of the women secret service agents who when the shots are fired she fackin ducked and cowered to the floor ffs

And this was supposedly trump’s secret service detail at full heightened alert given the Iran assassination links.

Beggars belief, almost like it was done on purpose it was such basic mistakes/negligence it’s insane

However they do need to do something soon about car boot sales and the tool thieves selling the tools at then. Need to get tougher, ban power tools sales unless receipts

Additionally they need more police to try and stop the thief’s of them in the first place. Maybe setup much more stings like fake vans etc and then bait people into trying to break in them kill the khunts sorry I mean arrest the khunts

I'd go further with the Lords reform if they're not gonna abolish completely.
Term limits, FULL disclosure of earnings, removal of non attenders/contributers, removal of hereditary peers, reduction in seats of the religious.

Agree with some. A few are simply ridiculous and soundbites. A few are just completely ill advised.

I’m with Oscar on that one.

If a tradesman has his kit stolen, there’s a good chance he’ll miss a sizeable amount of work too which he won’t be paid for.

These so called ‘petty crimes’ can have far reaching effects for individuals and the police aren’t usually interested

Nope. Too busy filling in red tape and too few on the streets. It’s theft and it’s a nonsense to put a minimum level of £200 on it before it’s registered as a crime.

There are laws that need enforcing. It needs the infrastructure to do that. £199 of someone’s tools for instance might drive them out of work if they are self employed, the value is less than their insurance excess so has to come out of their pocket so they can resume work while in the interim their income is hampered.

It’s a pander to be seen to fwck about with crime rates. Nothing more.
