“Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire world, in the Middle East - but it’s all talk, and no action!" he wrote.
He went on to say: "If the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against humanity."
The 20 January date refers to Trump's inauguration, following his win in last month's US presidential election.
His post continued: "Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!"

It’s been voted down already aye
Per YTN, the South Korean military is saying the martial law will remain in place until the president says otherwise/officially lifts it.

Politicians have shown some balls, hopefully they're not made to pay for it.

Either the pres thinks he has the military fully behind him, or he’s imminently going to disappear out of the country.
He can’t justify doing what he’s done, even if he climbs down now. He’ll dissolve the assembly and take absolute control or he’ll end up in prison.
The statement he made attempting to justify the measures sounds absolutely mental.
Yanks (and Europeans for that matter) should take note, though. South Korea is a relatively stable democratic nation. It only takes one self-interested, corrupt individual with an authoritarian bent to shut the democratic process down and strip people of their freedoms pretty quickly,
Meantime in the DRC, more than 140 people have died from an unknown disease that causes flu-like symptoms.

NEW: Keir Starmer is preparing to hand peerages to a bunch of ex-Labour MPs who stepped down from their safe seats at the election to make way for new talent
Lyn Brown, Julie Elliot, Kevin Brennan and Thangam Debbonaire are all on the list
[@LOS_Fisher]
Nothing changes, just the colour of their stripes.
And this guy was telling us he wanted to abolish the Lords
NEW: Tim Montgomerie, former Boris Johnson adviser and creator of Conservative Home, has joined Reform UK
Probably the least surprising news of the year
That's quite a surprise TBF given how die hard Tory he is
Less surprising when you remember he's a massive bigot though I'm actually getting concerned that Reform will swallow up the Tories now, would leave a lot of the centre right ground open to lib Dems and labour

That's what happened in Canada when Reform split from the "Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. About 10 years later the 2 parties reunited to become the Conservative Party of Canada. More anti immigrant anti lgbtq2s anti same shex marriage climate change denying than the old PC's.
I think you could be looking at the end of the Conservative Party as a top 2 party.
