I’ve never seen such an online love fest for the guy who killed the United CEO 😂

They’re praying for his safety.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What’s the context?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
John Lennon was assassinated shot in the back on the streets of New York almost 44 years to this day, I bet some idiots somewhere thought that was funny too
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So no response😆

Wonder why.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Easily outraged
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whooooh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's this in English, 4za do you know?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liberals celebrating murder again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Snobby Pranks easily outraged
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Calm down saan, I’m just pointing our liberals celebrating premeditated murder again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You calm down cockney Pranks, just using your stock response to those that call out your snobbery.

What's good for the goose and whatnot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You did see the original comment on our thread right.

The biggest drama queen liberal laughing about someone walking on the street being shot dead in the back.

You keep on going with personal attacks though, I know it’s all you have response wise
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a pot calling a kettle something or other.

You took offence to an MP's dress sense labelling her a chaav off the back of it. Now you're crying about personal attacks

Being a cockney snob is a weird dichotomy

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn’t take offence to anything, you made that up.

I said she dressed like a chavvv, you took offence that

I get it, you get offended by opinions different to yours

----------------------------------------------------------------------
"The biggest drama queen liberal laughing about someone walking on the street being shot dead in the back."

Didn't take offence though yeah

In other news I've got a bridge to sell you
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I didn’t take offence, just pointing out the hypocrisy of the liberal mind virus celebrating a guy getting assassinated shot in the back.

Have a good day Fields

I have the SS and IRO over shortly for our annual review
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No hypocrisy in being a snob about a northern MP from down south while 'supporting' a team from the north. Going the match must be traumatic for you.

News for you, blue or red we don't take kindly to snobs, especially southern ones.

'Liberal mind virus'

Yeah have a good day David Icke
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We😆 Oooooh you got me shaking in my boots.

Mind virus, too easy🤣
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What part of that was a threat you tart?

Imagine beingbitchy and labelling someone a chaaav on how they speak and what they wear then calling someone else a drama queen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pranks triggered hear like cray-cray

His hero gone n onot everybuddy is as devastate

Oh deer

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the murder of 15 female engineering students by a mysoginist who was too thick to be accepted as a student.
Liberals have been trying to pass laws banning certain firearms.
Conservatives have been opposing any and all attempts.

Shut up Pranky. You're a fvkin idiot.

Erdogan on the rebel advance in Syria: “Idlib, Hama, Homs and of course Damascus. We hope that this march in Syria will continue…We had called Assad. We said, let’s determine the future of Syria together. We did not receive a positive response”

Turkey pretty much admitting they’re pushing the regime change in Syria.

F.O. I've become a bit NIMBY. since the last time. They come up here and there's no support for them and has added to the housing crisis across the country. There are more homeless than I would have thought possible just a few years ago. Took the Metro the other day and turned a corner into what appeared to be a Dickensian hellscape. Guys sleeping on benches and the floor.

I think there’s a fair chance that the real plan isn’t necessarily to deport all the ‘illegals’ - it’s to build concentration camps in places like Texas and make the migrants work for free/pittance.

They’re not exactly making a load of money now but at least in essence they’re paying loads of money back into the economy by spending those wages. In these camps there will be no wages to speak of so it’s going to be a catastrophe financially for the country all in the name of ‘doing something’

The Assad regime has finally fallen. Are the new guys any better? I’m fairly certain they won’t gas their own people or drop barrel bombs on them.

Along with that goes Russias base in Tartus. Humiliation for Putin and Assad.

If it's anything like any refugee camp across the world then it will not have the expected impact. I reckon the conditions in these "concentration camps" would be better than a refugee camp in Jordan, Kenya or Bangladesh. It could lead to more people going the USA, as seen with refugee camps, which are far worse than anything the US will put up and still attract migrants like bees to honey.

I expect there actually won’t be any wholesale changes in practical terms.

Deporting significantly more illegals would a) require more public workers, b) cost a lot of public money in logistical terms, and c) hit the US economy in the mid- to long-term.

These are all things that the Republicans (including MAGA devotees) are ideologically opposed to.

Force Trump to choose between tax cuts and inflating his own stock on the one hand and deporting illegals on the other, and he’ll choose the former every time.

The rhetoric will continue, of course: like all good hard right neoliberals, he will continue to demonise immigrants to deflect and focus the ire of confused, impoverished and disenfranchised working people on them rather than the wealth hoarding hypercapitalists actually responsible for their lot who he’s going to be governing with.

But he won’t be spending the tens or hundreds of billions of dollars required to recruit hundreds of thousands of enforcement offers, build vast detention facilities, fight legal battles, forge return agreements, etc.

Look at his cabinet. He hasn’t filled it with nazzis; he’s filled it with (literal) billionaires. They’ll govern accordingly.

I started watching 'Cries from Syria' last night, really harrowing stuff and too much for me in one sitting - I'll finish it this evening.

I can't see anything or anyone being worse than the Assad Regime.

Hard to believe its been nearly 15 years since the people of Daraa protested about the beating of children by the police for writing anti-Assad graffiti on a wall. 15 years!
