Been following this story about the shooter of the insurance company CEO in New York.

Travelled on a fake ID. Only paid for everything in cash. Knew how to avoid face recognition technology. Escaped into Central Park and disappeared. Now they have revealed that his bag they found had Monopoly money in it.

Seems incredibly well planned and definitely designed to send a message. When you look at social media, there is little sympathy from either side of the political divide. Grifters like Ben Shapiro are getting called out when trying to pin it all solely on the left, with conservatives calling out that he is trying to create a divide as he needs it to conduct his spiel.

Wealth disparity in the US is now at the levels it was in France before the French Revolution. Is health insurance and wealth disparity finally the issue that unites the working class over there? If not, it's looking like a ready made movie script already.

It’s one of those rare occasions when both left and right unite on an issue. And brought out some great gallows humour as there was a lookalike contest in New York this weekend of the shooter 😂

There’s this woman on social media who worked at United Healthcare and the stories she tells of how facked the decision making process was there is absolutely shocking. No one should ever be murdered of course but this isn’t really gonna break a lot of hearts. The more the gap grows the angrier people will get and rightly so.

The assassin is definitely some sort of professional.

He's done them up like a kipper and the whole story sounds like something out of a movie. Will be interesting to see how it develops.

The resources they are putting into it as well, when there is on average a homicide a day in New York and 460,000 children are reported missing every year in the US, isn't really helping with the public perception.
